POWERFUL, especially for the low wattage. Love it. Won't buy cosmetically-marked-up fans again.
I don't care about plastic housings and I'm happy to wire my own switches where relevant, so for me and the applications for which I use fans (in this case, cooling inside my truck/paired with optional swamp cooler water flow), this is awesome bang for my buck. It's a bit loud but I don't care, that's to be expected when going for something with high airflow.I do wish I'd considered getting a couple of different sizes because this is actually more powerful than I need for its current use, but that's fine, sooner or later I'll move it and the attached swamp cooler setup I built to a different larger space and build a new smaller one for my truck. I'd much rather overengineer something than have it be insufficient (like my first pitiful swamp cooler attempt with computer case fans -- fun starter project to learn about wiring in series and wiring a three-prong switch, but totally inadequate for cooling the inside of a Ford Explorer!).So yeah, can't speak to how good this is for actual use in ducts, but as a cheap powerful basic fan for a DIYer doing something fan-related, it's a great buy and I'm thrilled I got it. The only way it could be more perfect would be if it had an on/off switch already integrated into the power cord, but that's not a big deal and of course it's not like it advertised/implied that it would have one. It's exactly what I expected, except more powerful. Everything about it seems solidly made and I anticipate it'll last a very long time. I'll most likely buy from this same manufacturer again in the future when I need fans of other sizes.

Love this thing
We live in Arizona and our garage gets really hot in the afternoon due to the heat from the uninsulated attic above the garage.I took some plywood, made a new access door into the garage since the existing one was flimsy drywall. Then I cut out a circle in the middle of the access door a little wider than this fan. Then I used 4 "L" brackets to attach the fan to the access door. I cut holes into the side of the fan housing and used my rivet gun, then attached the other end of the L bracket to my new attic door. You can use short sheet metal screws but I wanted an excuse to use my new rivet gun. Then I plugged this into an outlet plug (Kasi) so now I just use my iphone app to turn it on/off and I can schedule it.It's mildly loud, but not bothersome by any stretch. We have a 3 car garage and it moves a lot of air - so much that I can see the garage door move inward a bit when I turn it on.So overall, I really like this and it's pushing the hot air back out of the attic through the gable and roof vents to now my garage isn't over 105 degrees anymore in the morning.

Works well, vibrates a lot and is noisy.
Installing this fan was super easy, as well as getting it powered up. At full speed this fan is quite noisy, but my main issue is that it vibrates A TON at full speed. I bought an external fan speed regulator switch so I could slow it down to eliminate the intense vibration. This helps with vibrations and noise level, but of course provides worse air flow. While the fan is very powerful at this price point, it would be nice if the fan blades were balanced.

Installing was easy, worked well this winter to keep our kitchen warm, noise wasn’t an issue

🤔
Fan is very loud and unbalanced

Works just fine
This was quite easy to install in the attic, simple by cutting a flexible duct in half, securing each end, and hard-wiring it to a circuit and a switch just off the kitchen. I used it to connect two rooms, one of which is cooled by a mini-split system in the room itself, the other with no cooling at all.My expectation, I admit, was that the air would push a little more than it does, and I suppose there are improvements to the filters, to the bends in the ducts, etc. which may imrprove the flow, but I believe it's adequate. My advice is that if you are looking for noticable volume that you can feel pushing against your hand as you hold it up in front of a duct, get the highest flow rate unit you can. I do believe this item is mainly to be used as a supplement to most systems. In my case, it's all the flow I have. However, again, for me this is adequate and it works very well without issue.

Look elsewhere, this fan is a poor performer
Very noisy and the fan moves very little air.

Looks, fit,and a good product
Just what the doctor ordered. I was able to put new exhaust fan up to replace the one someone had stole. Fit right in place, no aggravation at all. Easy to use and works great on hot days removing hot air from my kitchen when cooking.

It blows. In a good way!
The fan encasement is made from a duct-like material, but it is much stronger and more rigid. The fan has plenty of room inside the ducting should the encasing ever be dented or deform from mishandling or falling. When I received it, it would rumble loudly throughout the ducting; the issue had something to do with the seating of the fan blade, because I took it off and ran it and the motor itself was silent. I removed the fan blade, applied some oil, and pressed in the blade while tightening the nut which holds it on -- the rumble was reduced significantly.Overall, an excellent fan exhaust fan at a solid price. Any workshop, growery, or perhaps a smoking room could benefit from this addition greatly., especially with the addition of a carbon filter.

Suficientemente bueno, para el uso que le doy
Esperamos de mejor calidad, resistente y más potencia de extracción, pero lo califico como bueno!!!

Excellent value, strong flow, reasonable noise level (initially)
Update after ten months:Still running strong, but now quite noisy. Will need to replace it because most and vibration are too much for a home.~9-10 months of constant operation moving warm - hot air.(original review)Excellent value!Noise level quite modest once installed, handles 25' duct well. No issues after first month venting intermittent high temperature exhaust.Fan noise increased after the first few days, but still very reasonable. Don't want it in your bedroom, but totally acceptable in the next room.

too loud but works great
