Excellent power supply for my board. Solved all my problems. Pick the model with enough outlets to fill your needs and you’ll be glad you did.

Positives: it is well made, compact and lightweight, made in USA if that's important to you, and it's totally QUIET. I own this and a Strymon Zuma. IMO the Zuma is more value for a little more dough. Now a couple negatives. For one thing, the 8x is misleading in that yes, each output can provide 500ma, but you get 2000ma TOTAL for the whole supply. I had no idea this was the case, discovered after owning for 6 months. If you're only using analog pedals (distortions, flangers, etc.) this is fine, you'll have more than enough juice. But if you are using 4x 500ma digital pedals, then you're already out of outputs. This is fine for most users of this item. My problem is, they don't exactly make this information obvious (note it's not in the product spec bullet points for example, or mentioned anywhere on this product page), and I feel like it's done on purpose to mislead. Another negative is the cables. They are quite a bit shorter than what came with my Strymon Zuma. If you're all on a pedalboard, that's probably fine. But if you're on a desktop setup with synths and whatnot, the cables are just slightly too short a lot of the time. I've also had issues with the cables not seating fully in pedals and coming loose and falling out. The cables are also a bit thinner than the Zuma, but that's not really a big deal to me. Overall it's solid, just make sure it's gonna do what you want. that said, I do think at retail it's overpriced by about $50. For me, I'll use the Zuma for the digital pedals and small 9v synths, and use the pedal power for analog distortions, analog delay etc.

Love voodoo labs power supplies. You just can’t go wrong with them. These power supplies are no exception. I bought a second one I liked the first one so much. Definitely would buy another if I should need. These power supplies are built great and work even better

Was able to use with hx stomp (with Y cable )plus my other pedals Have used several times a week for last couple of years with no issues
