Will this cut 16 GA steel studs?

Easily. We used it to cut 3/8’s steel plates, and it worked great. It even cuts galvanized like butter. I can’t recommend this blade enough. But you have to use the correct saw, you can’t use it on a regular table or skill saw. The correct rpm is on the blade if I remember correctly.

Does this blade have a diamond arbor? will it fit a 8.25" skillsaw?

Hi No diamond at all. .only 5/8 arbor. Also I bought it and says up to 4300rpm only. ..not like in the picture up to 9000rpm... So you'll probably need to check the exact saw with the right rpm. ..I've bought it for my flexvolt 8.25 table saw and he's running for 5800 rpm. ..so I don't think I'll use that blade in my flexy. ...

I have aluminum sheets, 1/4” thick. I would like to make several cuts. Can this blade handle my need?

I can't answer your question directly but cutting a soft metal like aluminum is a challenge. It binds in a griding wheel or in the teeth of a hack saw blade. I would do a web search for the best way to cut 1/4" aluminum. A plasma cutter should work. I did not have good results with the Diablo wheel cutting a piece of steel. I removed it from my chop saw and stashed it with other unused blades.

Does this work well in Aluminum?

I can personally tell you it works well with aluminum. It also cuts stainless, which I thought was impossible, but the rep showed us that it does. We’ve cut steal 1/2in thick angle iron with these blades, I can’t recommend it enough. We’ve bought probably over 20 of them now. We cut a lot with them, they last a long time cutting smaller stuff.
