I'm a fan. I had never tried this product until now and it has long lasting effects on the skin after application, at least in my short two-week experience using it. Perhaps the long lasting effect is due to the fact the my lips do not dry out as quickly and I do not need to reapply as often as with other balms, I don't feel that I have a bunch of goop on all day, after maybe about half an hour it feels as if the product is absorbed into the crevices of my desert-like skin.I typically use any lip balm from the store and have tried many different ones from cheap to midrange prices. Lately, I had been using a soft Burt's Bees - Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter (my favorite of the Burt's Bees balms), or Aquafor, those are my latest favorites. But I think this DHC is the better of the ones I have ever tried. It worked very well on my chapped upper lip, much better than the other balms. And since I don't have to reapply it as often as the other balms, that's a plus.This may not seem like a big deal product to a person without dry skin/lips, and I'm not using this product to wear under make-up or lipstick so I can't speak to that, but I tend to have a slightly dry upper lip around the top edges and I can't live without a lip balm or I get a cracked bottom lip. If you have dry skin and have tried many different lip balms in search for a good one, try this one too. I think it's worth it.

and this is amazing. It's better than I'd hoped for. Has a thick, soft, pillowy, slide to it without feeling greasy, tacky or sticky. Put it on a few hours ago and i can still feel it protecting my lips. I don't like the price, but I do like the results.

I have a daughter with extremely chapped lips, so I bought this on the recommendation that it was the best lip product ever. I can’t say that’s true, but it is a decent chapstick. It goes on smooth, is thick but not sticky, and it stays on for quite a while. But it doesn’t necessarily heal lips like a medicated balm would. Ultimately, it seems to be just as good as most chapsticks out there, but the price is a little higher. To be fair, Laneige lip mask is twice as expensive and isn’t any better. But I’m still on the hunt for an affordable balm that will rehydrate lips and heal cracks fast.

I have been buying this lip balm for years which is now available on Amazon. Not sticky,Stiff. Just nice and smooth. Wear alone or under lipstick. Great, great for gifts! Everyone loves this lip balm.! Never without it!!

I've been using this product for years. It doesn't have the waxy feel like most others I've tried. But the last two orders stunk so bad I couldn't use them. Maybe they were old and spoiled. I'm going to try one more time. Fingers crossed.
