Telena Backpack Purse for Women, PU Leather Anti Theft Travel Purse Shoulder Bags with Tassel

This bag is great quality and lasts! I bought it 4.5 years ago and I'm just now looking to replace it after constant use, including travel and as a diaper bag. It has been shoved under airline seats, in strollers, sat on by kids... It holds a lot and is pretty waterproof. It's easy to wipe off and I've loved all the little pockets. The side pockets are the perfect size to hold a baby bottle. I just checked and the same pocket will fit my 32oz Stanley, but it's pretty tight and that will really weigh the bag down, so I don't recommend that. The leather is starting to flake a little on the top loop, but again, 4.5 years of constant use and it just RECENTLY started that, so I have no complaints and definitely feel like I've gotten my money for it. The color has also lasted beautifully. I have the light pink and was concerned it would get dirty and pick up other colors, but nope! Still pink! I will say the bag is on the heavier side, even empty, which is the main reason I might try a different bag next, but there's a pretty solid chance I will just reorder the exact same bag because I love it.

Update: it’s been 2 months of daily use in Europe carrying SO much stuff. And it’s been really adaptable. I’m like a walking advertisement for this backpack, because I love it so much. Wish there was more padding on the shoulders, but otherwise it’s been a great bag. I can carry a ton of stuff for me and kid - including a portable potty, wipes, water bottle, umbrella, tissue, wallet, sunglasses, etc. so much fits into this bag. Hasn’t ripped at the seams, nothing’s coming apart, it’s been amazing! (You can see it in use at @wanderlustphamily on Instagram if you care to) —— Ordered 3 different brands and I liked this one the most! Photo uploaded shows the bags: (left to right) 1) ERFEI: cheapest (by $10), but the fabric outside was much shinier and didn't look as real, and the inside fabric was the same as Cheruty - not as nice as Telena. This is a great, inexpensive option though, as it's a good size and has all the same features as the Cheruty at a discount. However, could not fit my 13" macbook pro, as it's a smaller size. I'm sure if they had a large size, it'd be able to. 2) CHERUTY: This largest bag!! Loved the size of this bag. This is the 2nd best in fabric and quality. Can fit my 13" macbook pro as well without much struggle 3) TELENA: this pleather was the most real looking, and the interior fabric was better quality. I like that the opening was bigger than the others, and the zipper went up higher on the backside than the others, making it easier to put in my macbook pro, even though it's overall size is smaller than the Cheruty. This one seems slightly heavier than the other two as well. I also ordered the Khaki Cheruty Nylon version, and I have to say that I love the pleather look better. Just got the bags, so can't say to durability, but I plan to travel to Europe with it for a few months, so i'll let you know how it lasts! Will update if things fall apart.

Never written a review before but I do really enjoy this bag and wanted to include photos I thought would be helpful. I use this as a work bag and I’m very happy with it! I’ve had it for about a month and it is holding up very well. Note- my ruler in the photos is actually 13in with about a .5 in extra on each side. I also don’t have it fully packed so the dimensions with ruler might be off slightly Pros: -stores more than you think! I store all the items in the photo (minus water bottle) plus my outside clothes when I go to work in here. I’ve put in jeans, overalls, leather jacket, blouses etc in here and I’ve been able to make it fit. - zippers and pockets and material are all durable! I haven’t been treating this bag delicately and I haven’t noticed any decline in performance of zippers or scratches/ marks on outside of the bag. Even when the bag has been very heavy I’ve never been concerned about the straps or anything like that Cons: - front pocket is not that large The front pocket is about 4in deep and I can fit a travel size hand sanitizer/wipes and folded up shopping bag. Personally I would have liked it to be a bit bigger -material catching on side pockets I like using the side pockets to hold my keys or earphones so I can just pull the zipper down while I’m walking and it can be convenient. However the inside lining can sometimes get caught when trying to zip it back up again. - side pouch for water bottles is small. In the photo I was able to fit my hydro flask in the side pouch, but just barely (bottle is abt 3in in diameter) and that’s with taking a grip thingy off the bottle. I usually end up carrying the water bottle on the inside of the backpack. Overall I think this is a good work or school backpack. It can easily fit an 11x 8.5 sketchbook and a 13in MacBook at the same time plus other items. I never worry in big crowds about my bag being opened with the main compartment zipper being on the back. I would say 8/10

I bought this bag last year in April to wear to work. I wanted something that would be professional, didnt look like a childish backpack, went well with dresses and more feminine outfits, wasn’t bulky and yet fit my laptop and had enough room for other objects, and importantly water resistant. It was really comfortable, I like the style, it fit all my things. My laptop was a little annoying to put in because the zipper doesn’t go all the way to the top of the bag, so I had to maneuver it, but it did fit. I enjoy the theft free aspects of the design, but I didnt like that the zipper went almost all the way to the bottom so it was like a big flap. Things would fall out if I opened it all the way when it was standing up, as opposed to laying down. It certainly wasn’t conducive to getting things out when on the go (like if I was getting out my wallet at the register, it was annoying to fumble with the design, especially if my laptop was in there). I wish there was a small hidden pocket for my wallet to fit in. The design aspects weren’t perfect but it fit what I was looking for. But the bag didnt even last me a year before it started to get obvious signs of wear and tear. The trim on one of the straps and the top handle completely tore off. This is common for cheap bags, so it’s not the worst thing, but annoying nonetheless. The leather on the bottom close to my back, rubbed away, exposing the inside plastic tubing. Even the leather on the outside of the bag that wasn’t rubbing against me, wore away. The silver hardware turned a rose gold color in some places. I got it on a slight sale so it was cheaper than asking price, but $40 for a bag that lasts well without wear and tear only 6 months, is not worth it, imho. So I certainly liked the bag while it was new and although it wasn’t perfect it served its purpose. Just wish it lasted longer . Would give 3.5 stars but rounded to 4

I was tired of trying to carry all of my items in a large and then larger purse that would then fall off my arm as I was handling additional bags when exiting the car or trying to transport my child with his sports equipment to events. I decided a backpack style for a purse is what I need. I bought this particular purse backpack anticipating that for the price, I would see if it would work for me. I have to say I am so surprised at the quality of this item. No one would ever mistake this for anything but a real leather purse even though it is not. I purchased the black backpack purse with brown trim as I know a lighter color will get dirty easier. I love that the large opening with the small pocket sections is next to my back so no one can get in to take any of my personal items if I carry it as a backpack. There are three separate pockets on the front to hold a variety of items as well. There is a very nice long strap that can be attached. I took a picture of it for you as it is a very pretty design. The strap can be utilized if I don’t want to carry it as a backpack. I feel like the design of this backpack purse is one that was thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of women. It is perfect for stashing away items when traveling, carrying needed items like, a make-up bag, cell phone or a laptop, piling in kids snacks, or just stepping out for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this purse backpack and I am excited to transfer my purse contents to it and begin using it for my day-to-day life.

Extremely happy with this back pack, that looks like a purse. It's just like the picture and a safety feature is that the main compartment zips close to your back, not on the outside. Making it difficult for someone to pick pocket you. It also easy to put on and off as a backpack. It also has an additional strap if you want to carry it like a purse.

I LOVE this backpack! I travel a lot and didn’t like carrying a tote or open top purse in an airport or on a plane. I was searching for something as roomy as a tote but more secure against theft. It is just too easy for someone to reach into and take something from a tote. The first thing I like about this backpack is the multiple carrying options. It has the backpack straps. These are adjustable but not removable. It has a handle so you can carry it in your hand if you wish. And it has a removable single shoulder strap if that’s what you’d prefer. The second thing I really like is the size. It’s a big enough to hold my large wallet, a book, my iPad, and basic things I like to carry on the plane when I travel (ie medication, snacks). It is small enough to be lightweight and fit under the seat in front of me on a plane. I like that I don’t have to put it up in the overhead bin. The third thing I like is the very roomy main storage pocket. I like that this pocket is not divided into sections so that I can easily put the iPad, book, wallet, etc., into it. The inside does have two little pockets for small things like pens and candy and that’s helpful to keep things organized. I also like that this pocket is on the secure side of the backpack. In other words, if I was wearing it as a backpack this zipper is secure against my back and not easily available for someone to unzip and snatch things. The fourth thing I like is the three accessible zip pockets on the other side of the backpack. These are quite roomy and I like that I can stash the shoulder strap in one, chargers and headphones in another, and leave the top one for passport and tickets so that they are easily and quickly reached. One drawback might be if you’re a large water bottle carrier. It does have two little side pockets, but I think these are more phone sized than water bottle sized. I don’t see that a water bottle would fit in these well. It appears to be very well-made. I don’t see any loose stitching. Most of the seams are single stitched, the seam where the back straps and handle strap are attached at the top is double stitched all the way across and triple stitched at each handle. I will update if I have any problems, but at the moment, I am super happy with this purchase!

Very nice bag! The leather is smooth and doesn’t look cheap.I ordered it for my mom. She loved the nylon version of this same bag in black but, she no longer has it. She was disappointed it didn’t come with the white and black striped strap. Was it forgotten? For the price, it should’ve been included.

Dieser Rucksack ist wirklich - für den wirklich geringen Preis - MEGA toll! Die vorangegangen Rezensionen, die behaupten die Verschlüsse würden schnell kaputt gehen, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich benutze diesen Rucksack nun seit 4 Monaten und es ist noch nichts kaputt, obwohl die Reißverschlüsse täglich ca 30 mal auf und zu gemacht werden. Außerdem sieht er super schön aus. Von mir gibt es eine absolute Kaufempfehlung! Danke auch an Amazon für den Turbo schnellen Versand!

The description said it was leather but it is not. I liked the style of the bag but as it was not leather for that price I sent it back.

The backpack is amazing for trips, especially during spring- early autumn time. It looks small but when you start to pack, you realize how much clothes can actually fit in! For example, for a 5-day trip I can pack 5 outfits, socks, underwear and my camera. I am so happy with the backpack. Been traveling with it 6 times already. What is also important, is that my back doesn't feel tired after hours of wearing all that weight. The bag feels light, which is great for my always-in-pain back.
