NutriCology Mastic Gum Chios Resin Digestive, 120 Capsules

I have been having a lot of digestive issues especially since the Covid-19 pandemic since anxiety seems to aggravate my knots in the stomach. After even eating a little, the food would just sit in my stomach and my stomach felt like a rock at times and I could hardly eat. I lost almost 20 pounds in about two months. It was terrible since I also had to work every day due to working in the essential business sector. I'd feel pressure in my chest as well in worse days from indigestion and felt suffocated. I thought maybe I was suffering from functional dyspepsia. I'd get bad indigestion especially after eating gluten or meats. I did the H-pylori test but came back negative. I'm set for endoscopy, colonoscopy, and celiac disease test 2 weeks later but since I started on the mastic gum a week ago, my digestion became so much better. Even gluten seems okay as long as I took Glutenease right before eating gluten food. Before taking these, I also tried taking anti-acid like pantoprazole since I have Gerd but it got worse after using it for one week so I stopped as this also happened before. I also tried Betaine HCL since some said it might be due to a lack of acid as you age. I did the baking soda acid test at home and it seemed like I had a lack of acid so I tried HCL but it didn't help at all and it seemed to aggravate my condition. I took probiotics and digestive enzymes as well but these didn't work that well before I started taking mastic gum. I took another brand mastic gum my husband used for two days before it ran out and I purchased this one but it seems like this one is working great. Usually, I hate taking medicines and supplements but this one gave me no side effects when I often have side effects like heart palps from other supplements or medicines. This capsule has a distinctive mastic gum smell which is more like herbal smell which I don't mind. I highly recommend mastic gum for any of your digestive issues especially if you suffer indigestion like me. I believe it'd be safe to take it long term. I'm so glad my husband convinced me to finally try. It works the best among all the digestive supplements I tried!

I started using Mastic Gum about a year or so ago when I thought I might have H Pylori. I still use mastic gum daily, 2 capsules in the morning about 30min-1hr before I eat. I'm currently frustrated about the limited availability of this product because after all this time with it, I'm starting to rediscover what my life is like without it--hint, it's not as great. Seriously, there's something about this stuff that really works. Taking 2 capsules once a day has almost completely eliminated my moderate gastric reflux issues (I have a history of eosinophilic gastroenteritis). I also notice that if I take 2 capsules before I eat junk food (come on we all get cravings for fried stuff and fatty processed sugar every now and then) my digestion is totally normal, like I had been eating healthy all along. ALSO, for some reason when I take this before drinking alcohol (1-2 hours prior) I experience NO gastrointestinal upset the night of or the next day. As I said before I'm currently out of this stuff and I feel really bloated, irregular, and kinda "meh" to be honest. I'm hoping Amazon's next shipment comes in soon or I'll have switch to another, less affordable option, which would be a total bummer. I've ried a couple of brands in the past, can't remember which, and they worked ok.. but once I found Nutricology, I haven't bought anything else. 120 capsules = 60 doses = 1000mg per dose = the best deal I've found for this particular product.

I have been taking these to try and help out with my h.pylori for about 3 weeks and I immediately felt much better. I had 2 entire week of real bliss, feeling healthy again for the first time in a while. Last week I felt a bit like my progress had receded. I had two days of stomach pains again but I would like to believe it was effected by my diet ( I slipped and had chocolate, as well as grains) and I will continue taking these the full 3 months. I am trying to stay strong and strict with my diet and have ordered another batch. I have faith because out of all of the things i've tried, 2 strings of antibiotics, along with other medications, manuka honey(which actually made me feel worse, I feel that it was too much sugar?)... these have actually made me feel the best, with no negative side effects.

I've tried Nutricology Mastic Gum, and I found it really helpful for my digestion. It’s a natural product, which I like, and it seemed to help with my heartburn and stomach issues. I also read that it has antimicrobial properties, which is a nice bonus. On the downside, it’s not cheap and not everyone might find it effective. Some people might not like the taste, but since it comes in capsules, it wasn’t a problem for me. Overall, I think it’s worth trying if you’re looking for a natural way to support your digestive health. Just make sure to check with your doctor first!

Came down with a really bad case of H. Pylori in December of 2017. Not only did it affect my stomach, but my doctor informed me that it was setting up shop in my intestines. I could barely eat more than one meal per day because I was so bloated. And, basically all of my stools were runny. My digestive system was basically a trainwreck, and I completely lost my libido. I later read that H. Pylori can help raise estrogen levels while suppressing testosterone. My doctor gave me a product by Apex Energetics called H-PLR (K-32). The H-PLR (K-32) definitely helped somewhat, but it wasn't very fast acting. So, in search of something more heavy hitting, I came across a lot of great recommendations for Mastic Gum (for helping with H. Pylori infections). After the first day or so of taking the Mastic Gum, I noticed a HUGE improvement! And, within a week, I'd say that this Mastic Gum helped completely knock out the infection. The bloating disappeared, my appetite returned, my libido returned, and my stools gradually returned to normal. Unfortunately, I read many accounts of people struggling with H. Pylori for months. So, I was relieved to have quickly gotten rid of it. And, I continued taking the Mastic Gum a little longer just to make sure it was gone for good. Another thing that helped out a lot was squeezing lemon juice into to my water. Studies have been done to prove that citric acid helps inhibit H. Pylori. It certainly seemed to have been the case for me. I used 1 full lemon per 16oz of water, and that seemed to help do the trick.

Do not know when this has started, but the product is full of filler now, barely have any mastic gum. I started with this brand a while ago, it was a more expensive brand out there, and it was good. This product used to treat H. Pylori within 3 days, twice a day and on the second day you can smell distinctive smell of mastic gum when you burp, it means that you have good mastic gum potency in the pill. Now, taking 4 a days for 2 weeks without results, I can't smell that distinctive smell when burping with double the dose I used to take. So much filler in there it actually give you bloat, I feel less bloating after stop taking it. If you has known to real mastic gum smell and color, you would know this is not it. At least dye your starch filler amber color, lol. I would guess it is 20% or less of mastic gum in the pill. This brand has been more expensive comparing to others. Difference is that before, you get what you pay for. this brand pulls the trick that many manufacturers has been doing that once they got customers, they start doing shady stuffs like this to maximize its profit. I paid $68 for two bottle of some starch in capsule, and as the time of this writing, it is $54/each for starch in capsule, that is a scam. Consumers need to kills brands that practice this kind of behavior.

I normally don't write reviews but I felt in this case if someone took a chance like I did based on reading the reviews it would be worth it. I came down with an awful case of gastritis in February 2017, it was so painful and debilitating I lost over ten pounds and became severely depressed because I could not eat anything without severe pain. Even sticking to a strict diet I was in awful pain. I was terrified to try the antibiotics after reading the reviews of the side effects online, I have severe emetophobia and did not want any part of anything that would make me feel sicker than I already felt. I tried the oregano but it made the pain significantly worse for me. I finally gave in and tried this mastic gum product at the beginning of May 2017. It took a couple weeks to start seeing improvement but things have gotten steadily increasingly better, it's now August 2017 and I've begun to wean myself off the mastic with no pain. I'm eating almost completely back to normal now in the last few weeks without fear of repercussions. I occasionally supplement with slippery elm which has helped with soothing my stomach on the days where the mastic didn't quite cut it. All in all I am really thankful that I found this product, I'm not sure where I'd be without it.

Update: when I bought this product it was $26.96 for the 120 count. I understand inflation has gone up but charging double seems like using it as an excuse to take advantage. I don’t usually write reviews but this supplement is some sort of miracle pill! I’m in my 20s and healthy.. I’ve never had problems with my stomach before until I was given an antibiotic (zpack) over a month ago. My stomach was so messed up after that. There was a pressure in the top of my abdomen and it went into my chest. I couldn’t really eat, I was always full and so bloated. I stayed in bed most of the time because I was in so much pain. Doctors couldn’t figure it out, and kept giving me Zantac and then Prilosec. The side effects from those drugs were horrible. One gave me headaches and sharp pain in my ribs and the other one made me dizzy and blurred my vision. I started to lose hope because I realized the doctors couldn’t help me. So I decided I had nothing to lose by trying this supplement. I was blown away when I felt completely back to normal shortly after I took the second dose. I’m not kidding, a month of being sick in my stomach and chest was gone after a day on the mastic gum. My appetite is back, bloating and pressure gone, indigestion gone, chest pain gone. And no side effects!!! I also take DGL licorice but noticed the most improvement from the mastic gum.

Great product. high quality of mastic gum in a great package. I have been suffering from h.pylori for so many years. antibiotic failed after three times triple therapy. I thought of trying the natural therapy. no harmful of trying the following. however, consult your doctor as well. I 'm taken one tablet 500MG twice daily for two months + half little tea spoon of manuka honey + one bottle of plain kefir daily. take each of the above on empty stomach. split the kefir bottle to 5 doses to be taken during the day, that should gradulaly insert a good bacteria to take over the h.pylori gradually. use manuka honey once or twice daily. keep using mastic gum for a few months to ensure the full eradication of h.pylori. you would feel a big improvement in your digestive system. by the way, these therapy has been used by Egyptian ancient pharaohs to treat many diseases with 100% success. you can also try to get what is called arabic gum luban and chew it .it is similar taste of mastic gum . put a peace in your mouth, hold it till it form a chewing gum and swallow the fluid. it taste great, clear stomach, clear mouth and help digestive system. it help your breathing and help to open lungs and allow full recovery of many diseases. it come straight from Egypt , Greece, oman or somalia I will insert a picture of it here. also ask whoever use it before trying it or ask your doctor. my MOM used to boil some and drink them every morning. so, you may use it as a gum or boil and drink it. I prefer to chew it.
