Each vial is made of borosilicate glass, which provides a low coefficient of expansion and high temperature resistance up to 248℉ for laboratory use.

Do the vials come with caps and septa? Are they pre-assembled?

Each 2ml autosampler vial set includes both the amber vials and the blue polypropylene screw caps with white PTFE/red silicone septa. Caps are not pre-assembled onto the vials and require assembly before use.

Can I label the vials easily?

Yes. A large white writing patch is available on each amber vial. The patch can be labeled with a marker, making sample identification easier.

How are the vials packaged?

Each set contains 1000 vials in total. The vials are arranged in trays of 100 pieces per tray, and each tray is sealed with plastic shrink wrap. Five such sealed trays are then packed into one sturdy outer carton for safe delivery.

Are these vials compatible with standard HPLC and GC autosamplers?

Decent quality, minor issues

Used these to separate out some medication for injection. Overall, the caps were nice but there were a few that had defects that would not screw on to the vial. I was expecting to be able to use all of the caps, so I had to order another brand to get the job done.

OK for something’s but contamination inside!

I purchased these as an alternative to other vials I couldn’t find and though they work, they have high Na contamination. My application involves IONs and I found Na and Cl in these vials at unuseable levels for some samples. I think they are well made but unusable if you are performing any IC analysis. If you are performing other types of analysis it may work fine but I am surprised to find ionic contamination in the vials.
