Not quite a skateboard and not quite rollerblades, the Freeline Cruiser skates provide a whole new skating experience. Freeline skates are ridden with the same technique as a skateboard or snowboard, except with independent feet. As you ride, you can carve smooth "S" turns while riding downhill and dance like a fish on the flats and uphill. Riders start by centering each foot on a skate and pushing off a wall or a gentle slope to get rolling. Next, the rider turns the heels of the feet in and out repeatedly, creating a core twist for momentum. With each turn and swing of your body, you'll m.ove with more traction and confidence.About Freeline Ryan Farrelly launched Freeline in 2005, merging the movement and exhilaration of skateboarding and surfing with the action of self-propulsion to create a brand-new riding concept. From their first ride, Freeline skates' "sideways ride" attracted attention, stopping bystanders in their tracks. Freeline skates are now a complementary skating activity to skateboarding, tapping into a well-established market of more than 9.3 million riders in the U.S. and 25 million worldwide. Freeline is headquartered in Irvine, California.
