Our sink stopper rod corroded so I decided to replace the drain assembly since it was inexpensive. This product is designed well and made out of sturdy material. Install took less than 5 minutes. The hardest part was disassembling the old drain. Item came with silicone gaskets so no need for plumber putty.

This is the third time I've purchased one of these great sink drain replacement units—two of the overflow type and one non-overflow type. Make sure you know what type of sink you have before ordering. This time, the bathroom sink drain plug stopper was not working because the little support pin that sits down in the drain had completely corroded off! This unit was easy to install (be sure to use plumber's putty on the top between it and the sink). I learned how heavy-duty this unit is when I had to shorten it about two inches to connect to the drain pipe in the space below the sink: my sawzall had to do some work to cut through it. This is no thin-piped drain! I like how easy it works up and down to stop the sink; it also easily pulls out of the drain in order to check for hair that might have made it down there. Highly recommend.

I purchased this to replace a drain that had become corroded and no longer stopped the water from flowing. The installation was easy and it fit great for the sinks that I had. My only critique Is that the strainer in this unit prevents the water from flowing freely. I find myself removing the strainer and putting in a mesh strainer when I want to drain the water quickly.

My existing lever operated drain was leaking. It was a Moen unit but made out of plastic... Cheap! This new pop up drain arrived next day. I was very happy seeing it was made of metals. I was also happy to see that this new drain didn't require any plumbers putty to install. quick removal of old drain and a little cleanup. New drain installed easily. No cutting of the pipe needed. Works as intended. I hope it lasts as good as it looks

Easy to install and beautiful

I've had this pop up drain for about 6 months. The little cup underneath the stopper is a little difficult to clean, but it catches a lot of hair.

Very well made and sturdy. Nice price too. Easy to install once I was able to remove the old drain parts. Maybe would buy again. Only add on would be that the pop up drain sits a little low for fast draining. Slow drain is the worst when using Hot water. I believe the metal expands and then the side holes do nothing. Cold water it is fine. Update: I thought the slow draining would not be an issue but it is. Not adjustable for height for faster draining. Thus it leaves a scum in the bowl. Not worth replacing though. Update 2: I used my dremel and routed out the bottom holes for better drainage. The side holes do virtually nothing for the draining as they are so close to the sides of the tube they fit into.
