Super easy to put together - I did it by myself in about an hour! Instructions are easy and not too many parts. Just make sure you put the headboard support beam the right way (with the center notch connector higher) otherwise you’ll have to reassemble it later to get it to line up with the footboard.It’s super sturdy and heavy duty. It feels really solid and the pieces are all solid wood and heavy, being bolted together it doesn’t creak at all.I like how the slats have prongs and Velcro to attach into to lock into place, as well as a light adhesive on 2 of them so the mattress doesn’t slide either.I can fit some under bed storage units I found on Amazon too, which works great and now I can put my winter clothes away. Definitely enough storage underneath.I also just like the Carmel color of it. The finish is nice. I’m really impressed with the quality for the money.On a random note, I LOVED how the Styrofoam was wrapped in plastic so you didn’t get little pellets around your house. Such a small detail and a nice surprise (although one day I hope we can find a different less wasteful material).

Great bed frame. I wish it displayed the measurement between the bed top and bottom of headboard. I am a very proportion driven person for my visual space. If the bed has a headboard, I want it to show. I don’t want it to be covered by the mattress at all. For this headboard to look right, you need a 9-10” mattress. No taller than 10”. Mattresses that short tend to be on the lower quality end.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of constructing this bed. Everything was labeled and numbered so even a dolt like me could follow it. There are no written instructions, but there is a video and pictures. It arrived in very protective packaging and there were no damaged pieces. All in all - a value for the money.

Assembly was easy to follow. I did have to take apart and redo headboard because I put side rails on upside down. This bed is good for a guest room. It doesn’t feel like it will hold up long term as a primary bed. Not sturdy for that or kids jumping on. Good for short term or in frequent use.

I have been sleeping on this bed for over a year now with no issues like squeaking if or loose parts. Assembly was easy enough to do by myself in just over an hour, though it would've been easier with a buddy. The warm medium tone of the wood goes well with my mid-century home, and the low profile of the headboard and footboard make this very neutral and versatile piece.

The hassle we experienced just to get this bed assembled. The package arrived with missing parts, then the company sent the wrong parts. Finally weeks later after receiving what we thought were the correct parts, while assembling it, the predrilled holes didn’t line up so we had to either drill our own holes or leave a peg out which is obviously unsafe. The worst part is Zinus takes a very long time to return emails (there’s no answer when you call the support line) and a long time to get a non-AI email response. It’s been months since we ordered this product and only now we are able to use it but TBD if we survive the night with how shoddy we had to assemble it.
