Cantu Care for Kids Leave-In Conditioner with Shea Butter, 10 oz (Pack of 3)

My baby girl is not even 1 year old yet, but she has beautiful curly & coily hair. This product is amazing, & enhances her curls when used alongside gentle baby shampoo & gentle baby conditioner [rinse out] this is the 3rd step, or the 1st step on days she doesn't get her hair washed & it refreshes & enhances her curls. It is lightweight & not very greasy, but 🤏a little bit, a few tiny dabs go a long way on her baby head. The smell is very light & fresh and doesn't bother her. Perfect for little ones with curly and/or coily hair!!

I was very surprised to find out that this product is NOT SEALED under the lid considering it is a beauty product... but, it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I am using this on my 10 Month old baby girl who has extremely long and curly hair. To prevent over-washing and over-drying from excessive shampooing, I like using this product for her hair in between washes AND for styling. PROS/ • gentle enough for kids AND babies • does NOT harden your hair or scalp • does NOT dry out or flake • does not leave residue on hair or scalp • scent is really nice and not overwhelming • a little goes a long way • formula consistency is nice- not overly thick, not oily or greasy *In between washes— I use this product on days that I do not wash/shampoo my baby’s hair (over washing can be damaging to baby’s hair and even to adults!), it definitely does keep her hair moisturized and soft. When it’s time to wash/shampoo during bath time, this leave-in conditioner EASILY washes out! *Styling— I love love love using this product on my baby’s hair when styling. It’s smooth enough to style her entire head of soft curls, but “strong” enough to help me gather hair when I am brushing or combing through. I personally like adding a little extra when I tie my baby’s hair in a rubber band... it makes it 10 xs easier to remove the band at the end of the day WITHOUT damaging my baby’s hair. RECOMMEND/ I will be purchasing another as soon as I am done with this container. I would definitely recommend this product to others as well. I do wish that this item was sealed... makes it a little difficult to see or know if someone has tampered with it prior to receiving. Nonetheless... 5 stars, great product! UPDATE: 02/01/2022– It’s been nearly a year of using this product- wow! My daughter is now 21 Months old and we are on our THIRD container of this product. Third!!! We love it. Around the 2nd container, her hair grew so much more (I don’t think it was because of the product) but because of the growth, we increased the amount of product we use each time. Her curls give so much shrinkage but length wise it’s in the middle of her back. I’ve included a few recent photos of my baby’s hair, both styled using the product and with her loose natural curls immediately after wash/shampoo and the day after wash/shampoo… hope this helps! 🙂

Love this product for my son’s hair. He has curly hair and it helps make his curls bouncy. It works best when applied to damp hair. It smells really good also which is a plus. This product helps my son’s hair look moisturized instead of dry. For 3 containers, can’t beat this price! Would buy again!

This is my go-to for my girls’ hair. It keeps their hair soft, manageable, and easy to detangle without weighing it down. Smells great and works really well—definitely a must-have in our routine.

Compré este acondicionador sin enjuague de Cantu para mi bebé y me ha gustado bastante. Deja el cabello muy suave, hidratado y fácil de desenredar, especialmente si es rizado o tiende a enredarse. Tiene una textura cremosa, pero con usar muy poquita cantidad es suficiente, ya que si aplicas demasiado puede dejar el cabello un poco pesado o grasoso. El aroma es agradable y no es demasiado fuerte. En mi experiencia, ha ayudado a mantener el cabello manejable durante el día sin necesidad de reaplicar constantemente. Lo único a considerar es que, como tiene fragancia, recomendaría probar primero una pequeña cantidad si tu bebé tiene piel sensible. En general, lo recomiendo, sobre todo para bebés o niños con cabello seco, rizado o abundante.
