However, it can get a bit messy — water tends to drip when lifting the lid or top tray. The biggest downside is the lack of a built-in dryer. Without drying, you’re forced to wipe items manually, which can defeat the purpose of sterilizing if not done carefully. Adding a dryer would make this product nearly perfect.

I loved this product, and I would use it again a thousand times over because of how good it is.

I bought this, and initially loved it, so don’t like to have the experience I’m having now. I’ve followed the instructions and, now, the heating plate is peeling. I don’t dare attempt to clean it again the way the instructions are written (just a simple wipe down after each use from now on). The bubbles/peeling paint gives me pause there could be toxic particulates contaminating the steam (sticking to the items being sanitized). I’ve tried to call Philips, and no answer to my web messages, so I’m stuck with it (unusable); since it is passed the return window. This is not ok & not a good look for Philips (whose still having issues with their CPAP recalls and the sketchy things they used to manufacture those).
