For the price, this is just about the best protein you're going to find. As most things in life, there are some pros and cons. I will elaborate on the pros: #1 Protein yield, a mere 31 gram serving size yields 25 grams of protein, that’s roughly an 81% protein yield for plant based protein (very good)! #2 Promix contains a fantastic amino acid profile. No need to buy additional BCAA's or EAA's, it's likely more than covered in the protein mix. #3 the protein mixes well. I use water, and I have not had any clumping. #4 taste, I rather enjoy the taste of the protein. It's not sweet, but the chocolate powder comes through without an after taste. #5 the minimal amount of ingredients. There are no fillers or fluff, and that's partially why the protein yield is so high. Cons: #1 this is more of a personal complaint than a con, I wish they would list the percentage of the type of protein they use. The label list Organic Pea Protein and Organic Sprouted Brown Rice. I'd simply like to know the actual percentages. I'm assuming there is more Pea protein, but who knows. #2 not for me but for some, the taste may not be sweet enough. Overall, this compares well with some of the highest animal based proteins on the market, and the price is reasonable. I would love to see them add a “greens” profile to really complete this already outstanding protein.

I’ve been on the search for a good tasting, clean ingredient, vegan, no nuts or seeds, no stevia, high protein, and maybe not important to many people but very important to me, no big plastic container! This powder checks the boxes and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! The only downside for me is that I haven’t been able to blend it in a shaker bottle, it is pretty clumpy. But I use my immersion blender and it blends beautifully into a thick rich chocolate shake! I highly recommend this if you have a milk allergy and can’t consume whey!

It finally happened.. After scoffing at the "It tastes bad!" reviews for 4 years, I finally got either a bad batch or a new recipe, because it actually tastes like cardboard now. My daily smoothie has been a highlight for years. The powder has never tasted good alone, you always had to mix it. My mix: 2 scoops Protien, 1 cup Almond Milk, hand full of frozen strawberries, half an avocado, and a scoop of peanut flour.. and it always tasted the bomb.. everyone that tried it loved it.. but this latest batch? chalky cardboard! even with all those great ingredients added? so sad.. 4 years and now I'm in search of a new protein powder. I can't do soy or whey because of stomach issues.. you'll be missed ProMix.

Protein powders are a dime a dozen it seems. Some taste great and some are just awful. This one is pretty good. I’m partial to whey protein sources, but wanted to venture out and have a vegan source of protein. The first bag I received tasted delicious. On par with some of the better whey protein mixes I’ve had. And it mixed really well. Concurrent bags though, I’ve noticed a slight difference in both taste and mixability. The taste has a subtle aftertaste I didn’t notice with the first bag, though not bad. And now the powder kind of settles after mixing. I have to re-shake every 10-15 seconds to re-suspend the mix. Not the end of the world but a little annoying. I like that the ingredients are pretty straightforward, no filler. And the number of servings is very fair for the price and quality. The mix comes in a bag instead of a tub that I prefer, but it’s barely an inconvenience.

I was looking for a vegan protein powder without whey, gums, and artificial sweeteners. This vegan protein is very chalky and not flavorful, but it is everything I want nutrition wise. I personally cannot drink it with just blending in water or almond milk. I would recommend a smoothie with 2 scoops of powder, 1.5 cups of cold black coffee, .5 cup plain almond milk, 1 frozen banana OR a smoothie bowl with 2 scoops of powder blended with 0.75 cup of cold black coffee to liquefy then mix with .75 cups of vanilla greek yogurt and top with frozen banana, peanut butter and other berries. After some experimentation, this protein powder and is delicious even my family likes it! My protein and muscle mass for a vegetarian is very high due to this product and I'm now a subscriber for life!

Many protein powders on the market contain detrimental ingredients. When I saw this product and its ingredients, I was excited about how "clean" it was. When I had my first smoothie with it, my digestive system agreed and it felt "pure." The taste is mild, but my body simply feels clean with it, rather than all the bloating from traditional protein powders. As a health coach, I will begin to recommend this product to others.

I feel like the flavor of this product has changed. I used to really, really like it. Now I find the powder doesn't disolve as well - almost like it's a bit hydrophobic. And, I also find the taste is much more pea-like. I had been a really big fan of this brand, but I don't think I'll buy again.

I bought this protein powder boost my daily protein intake. I hate the chemical taste I get in foods with artificial and even natural flavorings. This powder does not have that chemical taste to it. I’m not a fan of adding plain water to it, so I add 1/4 cup of milk (I’m not a vegan), water, and ice. It mixes nicely, and the flavor is just right. Not too sweet, not bitter like some other vegan proteins. I actually crave this powder. My only small complaint is I don’t love the zipper on the bag.
