Smaller packets, tasty but not overpowering
A lot of the reviews were for hard unusable product. Both boxes I ordered were fine in that regard. The 4 star rating is for the flavor rating. I do agree that the packets when used on two LBS of meat are not very flavorful, when used one packet with One LB of ground beef it was great. I have a large single flavor box I got from the same company and added that as a bit extra for my second, 2 lb run ground beef jerkey.

Good product if you know what you're doing. A lot of the negative ratings would be rectified if they knew whatever you're doing do 50/50 with pork. You need that fat content. Also this is beyond 5 star if cooked in a smoker.
