SVBONY SV192 Dew Heater for Telescope 560 mm Lens Dew Heater

I use the SV192 dew heater around my 102 mm refractor which has a 4.75" OD around the dew shield. I typically just keep it on the lowest setting and never had an issue with dew. I plug it into one of the power out ports of my ZWO camera. This does not fit around my 8" reflector so I ordered two to fit around my bigger scopes.

Works exactly as needed, no problems at all. Worth the money. I use it in conjunction with a dew shield and don't have any problems running it on medium.

Ítem worked perfectly as described. It fits perfectly with mak 127 slt. I tested it and the heater works very well in cold conditions. I will upload a picture about the before and after and I will calculate how much time takes to defog the lens.

I use it on my 130mm EDT refractor, which it fits perfectly. I have a smaller version on my guide scope as well. I like having 3 different heat settings with the built-in controller. I have a lot of SVBony astronomy accessories and scopes and all are of high quality.

This dew heater works perfectly with the ASIAir, keeping my telescope’s glass elements nice and warm—completely free of dew. I also really appreciate the elastic band combined with the Velcro, which ensures a snug, secure fit on my scope. Feels sturdy and reliable.

Works well when wrapped around the end of my Celestron Nexstar 8SE telescope. It's a bit shorter (circumference of heater = 56cm vs 64cm for the 8SE) but it works fine as heat slowly diffuses over the front ring and through thick corrector plate. It might not work in Siberia, but it works just fine around here (SoCal). Has three heat settings, on high it pulls 1.8A max so a simple 2A power supply is plenty. I use the Kiss TMEZON 12 Volt 2A Power Adapter Supply AC 110V (here on Amazon) so nothing will go dead on a chilly night. It also works fine from the Celestron power tank, which also has a 12V outlet.

Warms up fast and keeps whatever wrapped warm. Will be using this in winter season for sure. PS can also keep your drinks warm.

I have to say that SVBony makes quality Astro gear, and this Dew Heater is no exception. I wish that they would sell the adjustable DC in-line power cable separately, I'd absolutely buy a couple! This heater works perfectly to heat my ToupTek HopeD60 APO telescope, and I really like the included adjustable in-line power cable. I have been using it for about 6 months, and haven't experienced any issue in function, and the strap material still looks new For me, the 5.5/2.1 is preferred, but I see they also have a USB powered option as well. The product came well packaged, and arrived quickly. The package included a little carrying case which was a nice bonus.

Cumplen muy bien su función, la calidad de los materiales se siente excelente. Los he usado con fuente de poder de 12 volts y su propio controlador de nivel de temperatura va muy bien… últimamente los conecto directo a la ASIAIR sin su control de nivel de temperatura, el cual ahora controlo directamente en la ASIAIR, los recomiendo ampliamente!!

SVBONY, is lesser known gear brand in the Astronomy industry. They are also less expensive than the major brands, however, SVBONY, markets a good product and the DEW Heater is no exception. Well made, works flawlessly and is priced to provide a great value. Highly recommended.

Banda de excelente calidad. La conexión a 12V permite alimentarlo con un powertank típico (Celestron, Orion o cualquier otro), así como conectarlo a distribuidores de corriente que se suelen montar en el telescopio para el cable-managment. El control tiene 3 niveles de calentamiento, cada nivel se ilumina con su propio led, así se puede checar en qué nivel está con solo un vistazo. La fijación con velcro muy práctica también.

I've tried it and it did the job very well. I will buy a seconde one for my guiding camera.
