Shoe Heel Repair, 4 Pairs Inside Shoe Heel Patch Pad for Holes

I had some expensive SRmax work shoes. It was one of those deals where I used it very little but for some reason it wore out on the heel. These shoes look brand new except for that wear. I don't think they're too big maybe the design with the big area in the back, nevertheless it was just uncomfortable. So I searched heel repair on Amazon and found this product. I ordered the set that has two different sizes. Now here are some tips, if you have a removable sole remove it. Try and smooth out flat the torn material in your shoes and keep it flat. So if you have to glue it down slightly do so, or trim it. I put the patch on there first without peeling the adhesive protective film and once I knew exactly how I wanted it I took the film off and applied it in one shot carefully rubbing it across so it's smooth and no wrinkles. On one shoe I use the small one and on the other shoe I had to use the larger one. On the larger one I got it on there just a little and had to lift it and reset it because I didn't line it up just right. I had to do this twice. Finally it was on where it should be and I rubbed it flat. Once it's on reinsert your soles. I think ideally you want the top of the patch to be under that round lip of the shoe, and the bottom of the patch to be as far down to the base of the shoe so when you reinsert the sole it covers it and helps keep it in place. The material is also easy to trim with a pair of scissors to make any custom shape you want however it's better to have more material covering the damaged area so it sticks better. As you can see, it looks perfect. Without shining a light on it you wouldn't tell it's there because it's all black. I can't feel it in my shoes and it has the same texture as the original one. After a week of everyday use, it it still looks perfect. I don't know what others are saying about the adhesive as it's very sticky and sticks great. You'll only have one shot to get it right in most cases. All I can say is make sure it's dry and clean and you should have no problem. I highly recommend it. If I have any pairs of shoes that are expensive or I even think that the heels aregoing to rub, I'm putting them on just as a protective layer.Update, 4 months and still stuck on good! Even went thru the wash and dryer! Now note, the shoes NEED to be clean! Glue down the remaining torn material before applying the patch, trim off any loose remaining material, then place patch. Use a larger patch for larger areas. If it doesn't overlap it sufficiently it won't work well. I'm very impressed. Placed them as I've stated on a new expensive pair of Brooks sneakers. I'm placing these on any new shoes I even think it may wear out on the heal, it's cheap insurance.

These “patches” work perfectly for covering worn places on the inside of your shoes. Good adhesion

They do pull off around the edges( only wore them 1 8 hour day and they r peeling off. I followed the instructions and also used a hair dryer to heat the glue. I waited > 24 hours to wear. They are fine for the ptice. But order extras, you will need them!

I had multiple pairs of sneakers where the outside (pinky toe) wore out. I used these adhesives on a pair that were starting to wear down, and a year later, there are still no further signs of wear. These saved my favorite pair of sneakers that got discontinued! I highly recommend using these on any part of your sneaker that has worn or is wearing down!

Didn’t work well for me. The adhesive is weak and it comes off easily. It also sticks to socks and leaves the shoe feeling sticky, which is pretty annoying. Overall not very reliable.

It's a simple peel and stick patch that does what it says it will. The price is right and it reinforced the heel of my favorite sneakers as advertised.

I hate writing reviews but this one is different. I can’t tell you how many pairs of Hokas I’ve worn out - 8 I believe. I walk 7-8 miles a day, and even though they’re expensive and the heels wear out, for me they’re the best, hands down. THIS TIME I thought I’d look around to find some sort of solution, and found these. I followed the info I found, cleaned the whole heel with 90% alcohol, let them dry for a couple hours, and applied them to the best of my ability. Some say not to let the patches go over the outside top, but the damage stretched too high up not to. I stuck them down firmly for 5 minutes each, and used maximum hair dryer heat to make sure the glue was as firm and stuck as possible. I had no problem with them sticking to my fingers - it’s no different than tape or stickers - just do your best. I let them sit for 12 hours and then got back to walking in them and they are PERFECT . I’m a little shocked, and even if these only last 6 months or longer, they’re worth it. I have plenty extra and my shoes are not incurring further damage with me walking in them unpatched. This is a fantastic purchase! Wish I hadn’t thrown out my other pairs.

While it does start peeling off on the edges, it’s mainly due to it being on bends or surfaces that it can’t stick properly. It works better when it’s on the areas are your heel can apply the most pressure to keep the sticker on. I recommend it as it is comfortable and easy to use. Better when it has the time to stick on the shoe as the instructions say.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these worked. I used them to repair damage around the heel area of my running shoes, which had become uncomfortable to wear. The patches were easy to apply and made the shoes much more comfortable again.They hold up well and last quite a while before needing replacement. They're a great way to get some extra life out of a pair of shoes instead of replacing them straight away. Overall, a simple and effective product that offers good value for money.
