I bought this for my husband YEARS ago and it's still going strong. Finally broke down and bought myself one too. Has cool and warm settings and two different levels of light- a brighter one that illuminates quite a bit and a softer one that's perfect for reading in bed while the person next to you sleeps. Clip is strong and sturdy, neck is very flexible, and we're going on at least 5 years with the first one so it LASTS!

Works as advertised. This is the second one I have purchased.

TLDR: It's an excellent bedside light. I love that it has a standalone power selector, in which I can use a smart plug to control Google Home or Alexa with it. (Just set it to your default preferred lightning setting). It gets considerably hot for an extended period, and I recorded it for about 20-30 minutes. Favorite Features: 1. Standalone power selection (able to use with a Smart Plug or outlet) 2. Different light selections, warm or cool. 3. Very bright, excellent for bedside reading. Disliked Features: 1. Considerable hot when used for a somewhat extended period. I tried it for 20-30 minutes, and it got hot. (I have only had this for a week or so, and I fear it may melt the plastic the lamp is emitting towards, although I am least concerned about the metal housing.) Advise: If you purchase this, please use it immediately as there may be problems due to this heating problem so that you can report it to the seller. Thankfully I have yet to have this problem, although I hope the seller understands it is quite a problem, yet a hazardous problem.

Bought this for a bed reading light. Attached to the headboard it's in the perfect position for reading. It's nice to be able to change the brightness and the color temp. This is a solid unit that performs as it should. Very recommended.

Have had this on my bed headboard for 2 yrs..love it. Definitely better than just nightstand lamp which i like low wattage anyway. Read, paint, crochet. It's attractive with a very tight fit. It will fit over 3" thickness and stay. Has dimmable and color warm light selection.

Like my title says... I bought this for someone in a rehab facility who didn't want to disturb her roommate with late-night reading. It is beautifully designed, easy to turn on and off, clips firmly onto the edge of a desktop or table, and has an adjustable neck and two degrees of illumination.

I just received this light a few days ago and it's perfect! It was packaged well, came quickly and is very lightweight. It clamped very easily to my desk without a problem and has not moved or slipped at all. It has a rubber grip inside of the clamp. It has 3 modes!!! At least I've found 3, there may be more, not sure. There is a dim white light, a bright white light, and a soft, dim yellow light. The yellow light is what I was looking for, as I work late into the night and wanted something bright enough to light up my desk and keyboard while keeping the rest of the room dark. It's compact and takes up no room on the desk so it's not in the way of anything. It's tall enough that it doesn't hang down in the way but low enough that the light stays focused where you want it to be. I bought the silver so that it would blend into my desk environment, and I barely know its there unless I'm reaching to turn it on. The bulb disc is the same size as the bottom of a 16 ounce water bottle. So it's small and out of the way. Although the lamp sits somewhat high and out of the way, I have it focused directly toward my keyboard, and I have not noticed any heat or uncomfortable feeling from having the light so close to my hands (about a foot away). I hope this stays on the market because I would buy it again and again. I'm already thinking of other places in the home where I can use this lamp, as they are so economical and compact!

I got this lamp in an attempt to replace my bedside reading lamp. This one kinda works. The lamp overall seems to be pretty sturdy, except for the switch, which feels pretty marginal. I can see why reviewers have complained about it, even though it's holding up for me. The light it emits is bright enough for me to read in bed, even when on its dimmer setting. Having said this, I think that this lamp would be better suited as a desk lamp than a reading lamp. There are two problems that I see with it: a) The stalk is too short. For a bedside lamp, you need the lamp to be able to reach far enough over the bed (and book) that you won't get a shadow in the gutter area of the binding. The stalk is marginal at best in this regard. b) The attachment clamp that's provided is just a spring-loaded clip. This does seem to be strong enough to support the lamp, at least in my experience, but requires a good 1.5" of clear edge for the surface on which you're mounting it. In my case, my bedside table has a marble top with an ogee lip, and only a small overhang. For now, I've just lifted up the marble and shoved the lamp's clamp under it, but this is just a bodge-up job, and leaves the table top sloping. There's a larger lip at the back of the bedside table, but there isn't enough clearance from the wall to put the clamp there, and if it did then the stalk would be even shorter. Many products of this type come with a wide variety of mounting options. This lamp falls down in this regard. It's also probably worth noting that the switch is kinda psychotic, at least in the labeling of the two switches. You actually have to set the lower of the two switches shown in the attached pic into the "off" position in order to turn the lamp "on" in the less bright setting. You get used to it, but it is a bit whacky. I'll keep the lamp, since it was dead cheap and the light is reasonably bright and versatile. I may move it somewhere else in the house (and get another one for bedtime reading), or try to figure out a better means of mounting it.

This is a good one as it clips on desks with good force! It’s clip is strong enough to bend it around without it unclipping and landing on the floor. The light is nice, bright or duller in a nice warm and white light. Click on Buttons quite user friendly to get used to changing.

Very sturdy unit. Not a tiny item, firm clip. A little surprised by the build of this little guy. Using it for my 'always dark, black on black' aux stéréo. Works very well with 2 intensities, and amber or cool projection.

hübsches Design und praktisch in der Anwendung - passt prima an meinen Arbeitstisch mit der stabilen Klammer, lässt sich gut biegen dahin, wo das Licht gebraucht wird - angenehm die Dimmvorrichtung ! Ein sehr guter Kauf, der schnellstens gelifert wurde !!
