How many card it can hold? Will the card thicken when it is full?

I have 10 cards and I can tell it has plenty space. Even with that number of cards it looks great and not thickening. I really love this wallet

Closed: 3 1/4" wide, 4 1/4" length Opened: 3 1/4" wide, 8 1/2" length (the center will stretch a bit to allow for the bulk).

It holds 9 including the ID slot. With this amount the wallet does not bulk up, and personally I like the card slot outside of the wallet for easy fast access to it.
