these came with a pump - unlike the "rainbow" balls i bought from i believe a different vendor that showed a pump but did not send a pump. my cat actually likes them. they are thick so she can't "pop" em and she can dig her claws in all she wants it'll take her a whille to wear tem out.

They are good durable rubber. But they are more oval and have a thick band around the seam that makes it even less round.
