Overall, this is a nice lego set. The instructions are pretty good for the most part. There are a few places where they just show a bunch of parts you need, and then a diagram of what it should look like once the parts are on, but no arrows showing where things go. Generally not a big deal as the diagrams are pretty good and allow you to progress at a nice pace. I only had to go to the youtubes once for clarification on one particular assembly. My kit was missing one part, but Lego's excellent website and customer service got the missing brick on it's way pretty quickly. In short, I do recommend this kit. It is fun and challenging and looks great. If you're a Star Wars fan, I think you will like the end result. I also bought a 3rd party lighting and sound kit that I am eventually going to install.

This was a fun build and the end result looks amazing. Definitely not beginner friendly but not quite expert level. A must have for any Star Wars fans collection!

Awesome build for my collection

It's fun to build R2-D2 LEGO, there are so many pieces! I bought it for my family during holidays season. I believe this R2-D2 LEGO is collectible.

Look If you love Lego and Love star wars then this is a no brainer buy for your Lego collection. the model is excellently thought out buy the Lego designer and has some very cool features like Luke's lightsaber inside the top of R2 D2's head like in the movie Return of the Jedi also you can find R2's interface probe and claw hand inside his chest. the Head does fully move and the middle foot can go inside his body for a two leg display. yeah I think its fully worth the asking Price of 250 dollars the build is very fun to build.

Arrived on time, packaged well so that the original box was not damaged which is important for Lego collectors.

Don't settle for off brand. Lego backs their products and had great customer support. A really fun model. My daughter and I milked this build for a month.

I had a tonne of fun putting this together. Yes I live Star Wars, but I also love Lego! Instructions were easy to follow, all pieces were included with some extras, and it looks great when done. Bought a display case for it (which I wish fit better) but it’s perfect! For the price I couldn’t be happier with it :)

Davvero bene fatto, vale i soldi spesi. Per montarlo ho perso 3 giorni ma devo dire che sono contento. Unico difetto troppi sacchetti e sacchettini vari. Magari avrei racchiuso in meno sacchetti i pezzi.
