My existing steps were metal and the treads on them had been badly deteriorated and worn from exposure to algae and the sunlight. These were great replacements that fit perfectly into place. It's best to install them after taking the ladder out of the pool entirely - my ladder assembly was secured by two bolts set into the deck. The screws and nuts matched up great and they throw in an extra one of each just in case. Very happy with the appearance and the steps seem to be pretty well made - no cracks or cosmetic imperfections.

Great Replacement for originals
As described. Looks like the originals. Easy to install.

Steps were perfect, bolts were not
The steps were an exact match with my old broken ones, so no complaints there. However, the provided bolts are probably not suitable for use. First of all, they were smaller in diameter than the original bolts, and also smaller than they should have been for the mounting holes in the steps. The head of the bolt was also curved in the wrong direction, so instead of 'hugging' the curve of the ladder rails, they would be sticking out. In my case, I just reused my old bolts ( fit perfectly). So overall, the steps worked out perfectly, but I deducted one star simply because the bolts were no good. If you need new bolts as well as steps, then I suggest you look elsewhere.
