ThrustMaster TX servo base replacement
Excellent replacement! It comes with multiple connector options, just cut and soldered one to the cable I cut from the old fan. Entire process to about 15 minutes from popping off the servo base top to reassembly and testing. It runs much cooler and I can't even hear the fan running.

High-Quality, Durable, and Perfect for Even Cooling in our Boat Fridge
We use six of these Noctua NF-A6x25 FLX fans in our fridge on our Leopard 40 catamaran, and they work perfectly. They circulate the air to keep both sides at a more even temperature since the cooling plates are on the back. These fans are high quality, extremely durable, and the only brand we trust. They look as pictured for color accuracy, easy to install, fit well, and it is quiet that we donโt notice any vibration. They last a long time and are absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended!

Quieter than the stock fan on my disk enclosure
I have an old Thunderbolt SSD enclosure that has a one-speed fan (always on) the noise from which has annoyed me for years. When I heard about this fan, which happened to be exactly the right size, I was excited with the idea that I could lower the noise level. Now that the new fan was installed, the noise level is significantly lower in volume and frequency vs the original fan, which was an old Sunon MagLev model. It's not utterly silent but much less annoying, so I'm happy with the purchase. I agree with other reviewers that the quality of the materials is quite high, especially for the modest price. If you have a PC motherboard then I'm sure the installation is turnkey. However the connector in my enclosures (I checked a second one also) are not the same as the Intel/AMD standard connector so the install required some soldering. Since the fan in my enclosure is always on and one speed, there are only two wires on the fan connector, so some internet research was needed. I removed the existing fan and clipped the wires going its the proprietary connector. Then I soldered the wires from the Noctua cable to those wires, insulated the joints with heat shrink tubing and re-installed the fan. In my case the original wires and the Noctua wires were black and red, so no polarity check was necessary, but YMMV. There are 4 extension/adapter cables that come with the Noctual box, so I didn't actually have to modify the wire/connector permanently wired to the fan. Instead, I just modified the appropriate adapter cable. I wanted to run it in LNA (low noise) mode, using the designated cable in the Noctua box. Online chatter suggested to ignore the third (yellow, tach) wire and just connect up the red and black on the LNA cable, which I did. It works but the reduced airflow method seems to be to turn the fan on and off. This made a slight clicking noise at the beginning and/or end of the on-cycle. That was annoying - in part because no fan is truly silent. So I then clipped the big 4 pin connector (from PCs of old, maybe 3/4" across) off the 3:4 adapter cable - it just has red and black wires - and soldered them on the wires coming off of the proprietary connector from the enclosure. The fan runs at full speed now but the noise is consistent. If you aren't comfortable soldering small wires and insulating the connections - and your application is something other than a PC motherboard - then a replacement fan might not be the best bet for you.

For my OG xbox
I got this to install in my OG Xbox and it works great. Itโs easy to install and makes the console practically quiet. I provides good airflow to the console as well.

Good replacement for my DL32 stage box
The fan is silent. It came with many adapters but I had to splice in my original connector.

Perfect for an Eaton UPS
I recently came into possession of an Eaton 9PX1500 UPS. It's an excellent, high end double conversion UPS. Of course, with it being designed to be in a server rack, comes server-grade noise with its stock fan. This would be completely fine if this unit was going to live in a rack, but in my situation the UPS was going in a bedroom. Luckily, there were mounting holes designed for a 60 mm fan behind the front grille and I took advantage of that by fitting this Noctua fan in its place. While the Noctua fans don't flow as much as industrial-grade fans, pairing this 60 mm fan, an 80 mm Noctua, and having both connected to the included Low-Noise Adaptor has made the UPS both absolutely silent yet as performant as it was out of the box. I tested the UPS at 100% load for a few hours and it never overheated with this setup. Exhaust temps were around 110F. Also, if you're reading this review, have a Eaton UPS yourself, and are considering replacing the fans, please look up online "Eaton UPS fan mod". It's necessary to prevent fan errors from happening and it worked out for me. (just use a 10uF 50V capacitor between the signal and negative wires)

Fans so quiet you can't hear them
Replaced a very noisy fan in some HP equipment. I can hardly hear this one, yet it has a very good flow.

It works and is very quiet. Wish it moved more air at this size.
It is very quiet. I think it is rated for 1500 rpms. I would like it to move more air for the purpose I wanted it for. I used this to replace a fan in a small portable power station that this is the perfect size for. It is much quieter than the original fan was, this one I cannot hear at all. The original fan made lots of noise all the time when charging and was something a lot of people complained about on the reviews. I did have to figure out how to properly wire it since the wire colors did not match. But I did find a video online for it. Which is why I bought this fan. The power station does get hotter when charging form AC power because of the lower air speed. But if I charge it off of dc only it has no issues and does not get hot at all.

wirkich empfehlenswert, qualitatives Modding
