Very easy to use
I used this in my bathrooms for stress cracks. It covered them nicely and were barely visible after painting. They were very easy to use. I purchased the smooth for my walls and the texture matched well. Good quality and highly durable patch and was super easy to use to hide those darn cracks.

Ceiling cracks.
Used tape seal ceiling cracks. The ceilings were textured and the tape worked reasonably well. I painted and without having to remove all the texture I was able to do pleasingly well with results for little expense. Would recommend if you did not want a real mess.

Works well but not perfect
This is some super strong tape, great adhesive, and is very thin (about 0.08mm or about 30-35 layers per 1/8th inch). If it's in an area without much light or straight-on light then I don't think you need to spackle the edges. But, if light comes from the side (try a flash light) then you will see the edges and it's recommended that you put a thin coating of spackle on the edges. This is not going to cover big cracks and seems best for thin cracks that are not too deep. Also, if the drywall or plaster is not even then don't expect the tape to cover it. A couple hints when using. To get the backing off, I put a small piece of Scotch tape on the backing and then peel off the top layer. This helped a lot as it is not easy getting the layers separated. Also, don't pull the top layer completely off the bottom layer too fast as the tape will roll up and stick to itself. In general, I'm happy with the results but this is expensive compared to taping; however, it's a lot less labor and with decent results.

Great for what it is
Is it the greatest fix? No, but if you have settling cracks it will cover them nicely. Much easier than mud/spackle if you don't have experience

Crack filler tape
Seems to be working ok but I think the surface of the tape would work better if it were dull not shiny even when painted it is too shiny drywall is dull by comparison

Avoid at all costs
Do not buy this snake oil product. It does not work as advertised. Going to have to remove and mud and change the joint. Avoid this product. I should have know no easy fixes!!

Not Worth It
I bought this tape with high hopes to avoid all of annoying steps to repair stress cracks. It doesn’t deliver what it promises. You definitely have to spackle to try and hide the tape. After spackling it works pretty well on walls that have orange peel texture. It doesn’t work well at all on white ceilings with knock down texture. I spackled around the tape, and used DAP spray knock down texture to try and hide the tape. Multiple coats of texture and paint and you can still see the tape. The grooved edges don’t really do much for you.
