Sturdy, Easy to Use, and Look Great
I purchased these Daily Treasures metal aglets after my dog chewed all the plastic tips off my shoelaces, and they worked perfectly. The metal tips are sturdy, high quality, and give the laces a clean, upgraded look. The included pliers made the installation simple, and everything fit securely without slipping off. I’m really impressed with how well these turned out not only did they save my shoelaces, but they actually made them look better than before. Excellent little repair kit and absolutely worth it!

Fantastic product
Fantastic product. Super easy to use and great quality. Attached is a video on how to use it. Cut the lace or ribbon, burn the ends to prevent fraying, insert into the aglet (metal tips) then crimp it drown with the tool provided until its rounded. Easy to use without too much force or effort and seems secure and durable.

Effective Aglet Replacement, but Instructions Could Be Better
These aglets work as advertised but take a little practice to get the installation right. I bought this aglet kit to replace the original plastic aglets that had worn off my shoelaces causing the laces to fray. I have found them to be a good looking and effective replacement for the originals, but they took a little more attention than simply reading the instructions to use. When installing, take note of the small teeth on the inside of the back edge and the larger tooth on the side of the aglet. If you go all in and try to clamp the aglet on from the side, those teeth wont dig in to the lace and the aglet will slide right off. Instead, I lightly clamp the aglet from the side and then gently use the pliers to bend the larger tooth over and into the fabric of the lace. Then I make sure the three triangles at the tip are intersecting properly. Then I crimp vertically, making sure to use extra force at the back to engage those teeth as well. I finish off by rounding off the aglet as well as I can. When I do this the aglet holds fast to the lace and I cannot pull it off using my own strength. Note however that due to the flat jaws, getting a flawless cylinder shape is quite difficult. If that is critical to you, go for an aglet style that includes a round crimper.

Works but with limits
These work but you won’t get the round look of a lace tip because to cinch them to your cording you have to flatten them. That was a disappointment for me.

Recommended speed hooks kit
Good little speed hooks kit and crimp tool (just a small needle nose)

Just what I needed
Exactly what I was looking for to finish off my handmade hoodies. These make the hood cords have a professional looking finish. The pliers aren’t the best since they are flat (instead of having a curved inner for setting the aglets) but they work fine if you take your time and squeeze them closed in sections. I haven’t screwed one up yet!

Good product!
I had to replace the shoelaces for my daughter's Jordan's. I've tried to research the length of the laces that I need to get, because my daughter threw the old ones away before I measured them... anyways, long story short I ordered the wrong size. The ones that I ordered were much longer that she needed. For some time she was using them and it was uncomfortable for her to tie them since they were very long. After doing some research, I find this product and thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did. This works not only for the shoelaces, but I was able to use it for pants/sweater/jacket etc. pretty much anything that has laces and if the ends fit messed up somehow or you needed to shorten it, you can use this product. I would definitely recommend it!

They are good for thinner laces
These are okay but not great. They crimp well but can look sloppy. These are for thinner laces and wider ones won’t be fully covered. I am using these for cords I make from yarn and they are barely big enough to cover. I think the metal is thin and should be a bit wider. But they are not a total waste of money and so far the ones I’ve used have stayed closed. The finish is not as nice as I’d like though.

Embout de lacet en métal
Je n’aime pas la pince.Ça prendrait une pince avec un trou pour que l’embout entre dans la pince.

Ease of use
With the pliers being flat, makes it very difficult to keep the round shape.

The aglets are good, the pliers not so much
They look good. I have pulled on mine for a while and they haven't come off. I removed the aglet on a couple sweaters to replace them with these, putting them over top of the original aglets didn't work well. The flat pliers aren't god, it's hard to keep the round shape, but if you have extra time on your hands you can definitely keep them pretty round.
