The Solio Family brand of Canola Oil is grown by our family farmer partners in the USA. They deliver the freshly harvested 100% Non-GMO seeds to our Peanut and Tree Nut Free facilities where it is crushed and refined in the old world method of Expeller pressing which preserves the naturally-occurring antioxidants in the oil. We do not use any petroleum based solvents (Hexane), caustic soda (Sodium Hydroxide), artificial preservatives (TBHQ) or anti-foaming agents (Methyl Silicone). Our Canola Oil is very Heart Healthy. It contains no trans fat, or cholesterol and is low in saturated fat and high in Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids.

I love this company. My son has several food allergies and this company went out of their way to find thorough information about manufacturing practices. Only oil I buy!

Great to cook with and for skin and hair care!
Wow! Who uses oil to cook? In making their own skincare or haircare items? This is an amazing value! In the store. 64 ounces average around $9.98 for name brand. Buy 3 and that's $29.94. Now add in your other purchases and gas. Your total goes up even more!This is grown by family farmers right here in the USA! It does not have an "off" taste like other kinds. Tastes nutty. I realize that is not much of a description, but it smells like some type of nut. I only eat peanuts and pecans, and I highly doubt it is one of those nuts. I just can not describe the taste exactly. I'm not really a fan of olive oil because of the flavor it leaves and the price! Many other products are made with GMO's, this one advertises it is NOT. Which is great to know if you are at all concerned with what you put on and in your body! No other additives, either. It does have an expiration date of 06/15/2016 on all 6 bottles. I have learned that it will not expire for 2 years. I did not think I would go through this very quickly. Since I received this on 03/21/2016, I have used over 2 bottles! I use this instead of name brand oil or shortening to cook with. I have even used this heated up to 99° as a hot oil hair treatment and on the tops of my toes at night. My scalp is not as itchy as bad as it had been. Likewise, the tops of my toes are much softer and almost all the hard dead skin is off.
