NKJV Pitt Minion Reference Black Calf Split NK444:XR

I love this Bible. I want to read through the Bible this year, and the paragraph format makes it much easier to read for long periods of time. I usually read one or two chapters and then have to stop. But with this format, I find myself reading 10 or more chapters in one sitting and having a hard time putting the Bible down. At first, I thought the lack of in text headings would bother me, since I like to know what section I am reading about. But I found that the lack of text teadings helps me to say focused and makes the Bible read more like a novel. The text headings have always signaled bor me that I have finished a section, which akes me want to stop reading. The lack of in-text headings in this Bible, keeps the text together without any signs that would have me slow down or stop. I also love the Reader's Companion in the back of the Bible. It is a mixture of a dictionary and concordnace. I have used it several times, and it is very helpful. I prefer it to just a concordance which is what the other Clarion versons have. I'm glad I got the KJV since it is my favroite translation and the only one with the Reader's Companion. I am concerned aboit the binding though. I like the calf split cover, but the glue in the binding is already starting to crack. I am only in Exedous, and am afraid the Bible will fall apart on me by the time I get to Revelations. I do like the fact that Cambridge has a warranty, and will replace the Bible if it comes to that. But if I read through the entire Bible, I want to keep that same copy, not a replacement copy. I wish Cambridge would use better glue , especially since these Bible are so expensive. A warranty is nice, but making things right the first time is even better. Dispite the binding concerns, I love this Bible and would recommend it to anyone wou wants to sit down and really read through the Bible.

The NKJV Pitt Minion Split Calfskin exudes the quality that Cambridge has been known. Having premium bibles in my possession, this does not fail to impress. Straight out of the box, pages open readily, turn readily and reads easily for senior eyes with bifocals of course. It will be used for a variety of purposes, reading, study, preaching and teaching all due to its portability. So inspite of digital formats in my gadgets, nothing beats an Uber quality hard copy of God's eternal Word.

I recently purchased the Clarion Edition of the Cambridge Bible, King James Version, and simply love it. As a pastor, I have been studying the Bible in detail for thirty years, comparing Scripture with Scripture and spiritual things with spiritual things. There are times, however, when I just like to sit and read a large portion of Scripture, and I have found the Clarion Edition an excellent Bible with which to perform this. Instead of being printed in two columns per page as most Bibles, it is printed in a single, expanded column form. This makes it far easier to read straight through and also helps in keeping one's attention. I can highly recommend this Bible not only for its content and lay out but also for its fine quality.

AMAZING.... Such a good quality bible , i was a little hastey about buying bc i heard the font is really small, but tbh its not that small its a 7 point or sumthing like that and the way the paper is and how crisp the font is i think its easyer to read then my 8 point font bible , def amazing quality lays flat when opened right out of the box from genesis to revelation, soft good quality.leather and paper amazing concordance , best bible iv ever owned 100x exceeded my expectations recomend 100% if your looking for a quality compact bible. UPDATE: Sold it to get a goatskin one but this one is better quality then the goatskin one in my opinion , if you add your own art gilt to this bible which is super easy just look on YouTube then you have a better bible then the goatskin one atleast the brown goatskin one in my opinion so I will be buying this again for the 2nd time to use as my take to work bible because it is that great of a carry around bible if your looking for quality in a small package that packs a big punch

I bought this for a granddaughter's graduation present. She has good eye sight. I would want a little bigger bible with larger font and room to underline and make a few notes on the page, This is the second of these bibles that I have purchased for graduation. This is a section of the note that we put with the gift: We want to give you a well constructed book. The cover is very durable leather and the pages are sewn together in such a way that the book may be opened to any page and it will lay flat for reading. Best of all is what is inside this book. It is the Bible; the Word of God. What is inside this book is the most valuable gift that we could give. This Great Book of Books reveals the gift from God that is the most valuable gift that has ever been given, the love of God sent His Son into the world to be punished for our sins so we could become sons and daughters of God and not be punished. This Great Book tells us how we came into existence and the history of man. It tells us God’s plan for our salvation, a plan that existed before creation; this plan was partially revealed in various prophesies in the Old Testament over several thousand years before God’s only Son came into this world to fulfill God’s plan. Probably one of the best bibles out there to date. I was really pleased with the craftsmanship. I believe more bibles need to be single column, speaking for myself single column bible reading has transformed my devotional time. I am more likely to envision the scripture without being distracted by all the notes and spaces, this way you have a more of a cohesive format to read it just as is. It makes a tremendous difference. I have held alot of bibles in my time and this one is nearly perfect, unencumbered! Simplicity is best. My future hope is that The Clarion Cambridge publishers would make this bible with 11 pt font or higher I am sure alot more readers would be attracted to it. I highly recommend this single column KJV, its one of a kind and worth the price.

Never would have dreamed that a paragraph format of the KJV would have such a positive impact on an already great book! I have read conventionally formatted King James Versions all my life, but the paragraph format of this Bible has made the text come more alive. I am able to read the KJV much faster, retain more, remain more focused on the text.... With the text displayed as was originally intended.... it is so much more readable and engrossing.... And as to the quality of the Cambridge Bible... as always, Cambridge quality, binding, etc., is as good as it gets. AWESOME PRODUCT!

The Bible is beautiful! I love it!

The Bible arrived with me well packaged and in perfect condition. I really like the size of this Clarion Bible; it feels just right. The split calfskin cover is elegant and yet tough-looking. The best part is the layout of the Clarion, in paragraph format, making it highly readable. The readers’ companion at the back of the Bible is handy but unobtrusive. And of course, the majestic English of the KJV makes it a joy to read. Well worth the money.

Beautiful Bible. Calf split leather grips to your fingers when handling it as opposed to the goatskin and is less expensive. Pleasing dimensions, font size and layout. The proverbs and psalms are so easy on the eyes. Like reading a novel, you can flip through it all day.

Really nice pages, the pages look fresh because there's no margin, and the words go all the way across! It's really uncluttered and spacious! My daughter likes the concordance and the maps etc. Its a nice weight, not too heavy - just right!

Good bible. Interesting book format. KJV too - nothing but.
