How long does the battery last between charges?

From what i understand inner part needs to be frozen. Does this not run the risk of cooling the medication to much and potentially freezing insulin?

I’ve never had that issue. I have used mine for about 3 years now and it’s never gotten close to freezing what is around it.

It says the battery runs for more than 3 years and does not need to be charged . What doyou do after 3 years.
