Excellent slim keyboard with great features
I’ve been using the Keychron K3 Version 2 for a few weeks, and I’m really impressed. The sound quality is satisfying, key presses feel tactile and have a pleasant click without being too loud. Bluetooth connectivity is smooth and stable; I can easily switch between devices without any lag. The brightness adjustment for the backlight is intuitive and bright enough to type comfortably even in dark rooms. All the keys function perfectly, including the function row and multimedia shortcuts. The overall keyboard quality feels solid yet lightweight, and the slim design is perfect for my desk setup. It’s also highly compatible with Windows, macOS, and iOS, making it very versatile. Overall, it’s an excellent keyboard for both work and casual use, and I would highly recommend it.

Keyboard product design is a fine art. And this is the masterpiece.
As a "fussy keyboard user" I buy many keyboards at no expense spared. I'm not sure there's any keyboard I like much more than this at any price. I bought this for travel but really I may use it all the time. The price, basically if it was about two times the price it is, I'd still pay it. It appears to me much better made than, say, steel series keyboards at 3x the price. (And steel series keyboards flake out after a year.) As everyone has said (a) it feels rock, rock, rock solid, strong and heavy (b) it's super-low profile (c) the connectivity is perfect (I normally only go for wired, so I'm very critical of anything bluetooth) (d) every product feature is perfectly thought out. My only SUGGESTIONS for the product team. Just add a sticker, or white printing, on the rear of the keyboard, with the two commands one needs to know to start it up, etc. (I just grabbed a "white paint pen" and wrote the commands on the back.) Secondly, may I suggest selling some sort of "travel guard" which would be a very strong kind of clip- or slide- on guard which goes over the keys, for when you throw it in your carry-on luggage. (Imagine something that looks like an aerox mouse, with a drilled surface.) Essentially, this is a perfect product. I chose the "most quiet, fastest, zero click" blue switches and they're perfect. I am a programmer and writer so I type billions of words and command-arrow type clicks a day. I've added two "size comparison to typical objects and other overpriced keyboards", hope it helps someone

Excellent compact keyboard, very well made, especially for the price.
This is a great keyboard. Note that this is a compact keyboard -- it is just a little smaller than a standard sized keyboard, but it is made really well, with a metal base plate -- feels very sturdy. The keys feel great and the backlighting helps see the keys in the dark. It connects via USB or Bluetooth, and can switch between three different devices with a keystroke. Also comes with key caps for both Mac and Windows.

Great for a first mechanical keyboard! Easy typing.
My first mechanical keyboard(s)! Got one for work, and I liked it so much, I bought one for home too. In between, I tried a fancier one from another brand that offers a million switch options, thinking I was buying quieter switches -- but they were actually louder. At twice the price, I liked that keyboard less than the simpler K3, so I sent it back and just bought another one of these. The K3's keys (with red switches) are fast for programming and command line work. The key height is good. The keyboard Bluetooth pairs to my Mac and PC just fine, and you can easily toggle the Mac/PC layout. That said, it does take a moment to "wake up" and reconnect in Bluetooth mode (as many switchable keyboards do), so I tend to keep it plugged in via USB unless I need it wireless. I like that it has a USB connection option -- not all multi-device BT keyboards do. The key backlights are helpful, especially for nightowls, though I prefer to just keep the backlights in static mode. Maybe all the chasing light modes are fun for gaming, but I find them distracting for work. And in bluetooth mode, it somehow seems to switch the lighting mode periodically, so I frequently find myself having to cycle it back to find the static one. One-star off for that minor nuisance, but otherwise, great typing experience. If you aren't a mechanical keyboard connoisseur who needs programmability and swappable switches, this is a nice basic setup that seems "just right." If you're not sure which type of switches to order it with, I'd recommend the red switches for an easy typing experience and switches that are relatively quiet -- as mechanical keyboards go.

It's beautiful, and just works
This keyboard is phenomenal. I originally bought it because I was looking for a quieter, 75% mechanical keyboard with backlighting that would take up minimal space. Stumbling onto this keyboard was by dumb luck. The short, buttery action of the red keys are exactly to my liking, and somehow it's very quiet at the same time. I type rather fast sometimes when I'm documenting features, or when I'm having a breakthrough programming moment and want to get things down, out of my head, and this keeps up easily, I notice no latency even when using bluetooth(I'm really picky about that). I'm typing on this now- it's plugged into my pc for power(I've yet to let it run out of battery), but I switched it over to bluetooth flawlessly to my phone to type this out. (I use a company VPN while working, they don't need to have my credit card and purchase information). The light features are awesome, not too bright, but visible enough for me to see all the keys in the dark just fine. I especially like the fade out effects on keypresses, you can see that on the video I've shared. I can't say enough about this keyboard, it's just great, I rarely post videos, but I thought this was cool enough to show off the different effects. Ignore the mess of wires on my desk, they are just the hazards of needing multiple machines at one station. Now I might just have to get a single smaller usb switch for my mouse, as this keyboard makes switching from one machine to the next flawless. Great job Keychron, you've earned my future keyboard purchases.

Good desktop keyboard for all the Sir Thinkpad Type-a-lot out there
Type feel: I personally like the Thinkpad keyboards and was looking for a desktop equivalent. Instead of going for the Thinkpad desktop version or the Logitech MX Mini, I went for the K3 brown optical switch version. The color indicates the type feel. Red=linear, blue=clicky, brown=tactile. The total travel distance of the keys are more than on the laptop but much less than a “traditional” mechanical keyboard. Felling wise, for the brown one, it is exactly what you would expect when you combine the laptop keyboard feeling between a good laptop keyboard and a mechanical mechanism. I ordered the red version first and was dissatisfied from the haptic feedback I got from the keys. Quality: The keyboard itself is simple and clean engineered. The quality seems on point and longlivity seems very likely. Due to the design and fact that the buttons can be removed the keyboard is easy to clean. I am sure even for the worst cookie monsters and chips eater will be happy. And if worst comes to worst it is possible to order a new set of keys directly from the manufacturer. Illumination: The light function is an extra gimmick but looks nice. A short youtube search should bring enough examples. Summary: Good keyboard. Can recommend. Reference Keyboard for me are Thinkpad laptops. K3 brown optical switch was the right choice for me. Tried the red one first and returned it.

If you are looking for a low profile keyboard that just doesnt quit, this is the one for you!
This is by far the best keyboard i have ever used. I really do not like high travel keyboards and grew up on laptop keyboards so having a low profile keyboard with zero flex and having it easy to clean makes all the difference. This is my second Keychon K3 but this time I went with the reds since The one I already have is the browns. Both are amazing, and i really cant decide which I like more. I have had the brown for a year and a half and I have spilt water all over it, traveled with it weekly and just beat on it in general and it still feels just as amazing as the first day! You cannot go wrong with this keyboard. A huge plus is the fact its compact two so its easy to bring with you no matter where you go! ?It is so easy to customize the lighting which is also real nice! It has different compatibility modes too so it works for me who uses windows and my partner who loves mac! its pretty quite too which is a huge selling point since a lot of mechanical keyboards are super loud. if you are looking for a durable keyboard that seems to never stop feeling new this is it!

Great compact keyboard for Mac users on the go
I recently bought this keyboard to use with my new MacBook Pro, and I'm really impressed with it. This is actually my first Mac, and I needed a reliable portable keyboard for doing software development when I travel. (At home, I use a desktop computer for my development work and machine learning projects.) The mechanical keys feel fantastic. I type noticeably faster on this keyboard than I do on the MacBook's built-in keyboard, which is a big plus for anyone who uses a laptop a lot. It took me a little time to get used to using the Command key instead of the Control key (since I'm new to Mac), but I really like where Keychron has placed it on this keyboard. It feels natural to reach. I haven't tried the Bluetooth feature yet because I haven't needed to. A short USB-C to USB-C cable works perfectly for how I use it. If you're someone who relies heavily on keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch between apps and get things done, I'd highly recommend this keyboard. It's compact, well-built, and a pleasure to type on.

Stick to apple
Waste of money. I bought one thinking it would be better than the apple keyboard especially for coding tasks. In less than a year at least 4 keys have stopped working properly. You have to press them 3-4 times. The apple keyboard has a much better layout with the keys spaced out properly.

Gran teclado
