These cheese sticks were ordered to be eaten on hiking trips. I loved the flavor of the cheese. You can tell the texture is a bit different from your regular cheese, but I think it's pretty fantastic considering that it is shelf-stable. I love to heat up chili and melt chunks of these cheese sticks in it. (These cheese sticks do a nice job melting in hot chili.) I also like to eat chunks of the cheese on crackers as a snack. These are a bit pricey, but I think that it's worth it for having the luxury of cheese on the go.

Husband needs for a week backpacking trip. He said they are good for a cheese that does not need refrigeration.

I know that everyone has different preferences in taste and texture, but this does not taste good to me. It has an almost artificial taste, and the texture is weird. I'm guessing this is due to the cheese being shelf stable. It was the fact that it was shelf stable that was a huge selling point for me. I was prepping for hurricane season and needed nutritious snacks for the family. Out of the 4 of us, only one of us likes these. I've been letting him eat them, and when they're gone I will look for an alternative.

Really good cheese but for the price it would have been nice to atleast get a full pack the pack was missing one normally I wouldn't care but at $1.50 a stick its kind of sad

If you like velveeta processed cheese, you will love these. If you are looking for real cheeze, not so much.

Good tasting cheese stick. Flavor is like medium sharp cheddar and goes great with crackers and grapes.
