Real Techniques Brightening Concealer Makeup Brush, RT 242, 1 Count

I wanted to use this brush for at least a month before reviewing it, and I’m so glad I waited because I can confidently say this Real Techniques Brightening Concealer Brush is amazing. The quality is exactly what I expect from Real Techniques high-end feel at an affordable price. I haven’t noticed a single hair shedding, and the density and shape are perfect for blending out under-eye concealer. I normally prefer brushes over sponges, but finding one that works well for the under-eye area can be tricky. This one blends beautifully and gives my concealer really nice coverage without streaks or patchiness. The size is spot-on for under-eye work too. For only $4.50, the value for money is honestly wild. I only tossed it into my cart to hit the free same day shipping minimum, and now I’m so happy I did. This little “kitten paw” brush is definitely going to stay in my daily routine!

This kitten paw brush is so soft and gentle! Absolutely perfect for the highly mobile and sensitive undereye skin. Love it!

This is perfect to pat in concealer, especially when spot concealing (I don't use foundation, just Dr+Jart and concealer). Just "tap tap tap" blends it in. And it's pretty good at under the eye and eyelid. I put a dot of concealer at the upper and lower inside of my eyes with a cheap e.l.f. brush and then use this to blend; again, "tap, tap, tap," less is more. I just wish it was a little smaller--or had a smaller version for the eye area--it's too large for my purposes, since I'm really just color correcting and spot concealing. Still, its closest competitor is a blending sponge--which is likewise too large--so it is the best I've found. Especially at this price.

I was impressed with the overall presentation of this concealer brush. The brush has a nice, comfortable size for holding, and the rose gold and pink handle gives it a polished look. The bristles felt very soft to the touch, and I found that the rounded shape seems well suited for applying concealer around smaller areas like the under-eye area. The brush head looks dense without feeling stiff, and the handle feels lightweight but comfortable in my hand. In my experience, the brush appears to be well made, with no loose bristles or obvious flaws when I first inspected it. I haven’t used it long enough to comment on its long-term durability or how it performs after repeated washing, but my first impression is positive. Overall, it seems like a nicely made concealer brush with soft bristles and a comfortable design

I haven’t tried the Angie’s Kitten Paw by BK Cosmetics because I don’t want to spend the money but this brush I’m sure is just as good and a lot less money. I use this for my concealer and it’s great. Blends perfectly!❤️

Pros: The shape of this brush is really nice, which makes it easy to hold and maneuver. The blend is really nice and smooth in most areas, and I like how it applies product without too much effort. Cons: I feel like this brush needs to be a little bit more dense, and a little bit softer too. When I blend with it, it sometimes leaves visible brushstrokes on my face, especially under the eyes and around the nose where the skin is more delicate. It doesn’t shed much, which is good, but the bristles feel a bit too firm for a concealer brush. Overall, it’s decent for the price and gets the job done for quick, everyday use. However, if you’re looking for a more professional, seamless finish, you might want something with denser and softer bristles. I’ll probably keep using it until I find a better option, but it’s not my favorite.

I love my little RT Kitten Paw Brush! It is so soft and works well for blending concealer under my eyes. It's a very unique brush. I have already ordered another one.
