The Best Freeze Dried Broccoli
This review is for Thousand Lakes Freeze Dried Broccoli Florets 2-pack 1.2 ounces (2.4 ounces total). I have tried many brands of freeze-dried veggies over the years, and I can say Thousand Lakes is the BEST I've used. It rehydrates in seconds, meaning I can add it to a recipe or even a bowl of soup at the last minute, and it tastes great. I will buy it again and will try other veggies from this company.

Fantastic- easy to use and tasty
Spent many years looking for freeze dried veggies without all the other spiced, ingredients in a meal. Tried this and the corn and they are terrific, very easy to hydrate and eat on the trail, easy to spice up with whatever- salt, pepper, garlic powder, olive oil. If you love broccoli you could even snack on these dry. The corn was tasty too- glad we found them !! Price could be better but this freeze dried stuff is expensive

Tasty and nutritious as a snack!
This product makes a great snack, either on its own or with a dip. Super lightweight, a packet of this broccoli adds almost no weight to a backpack but adds huge value in terms of taste, protein, calcium and contentment (the latter being very important on physically and mentally challenging hikes). The product is low carb so it’s also great for a low carb weight loss program. It’s a big hit at picnic gatherings, paired with a tahini dip. Enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans because it feels and tastes more like a chip than a vegetable.😆I’m hooked, both for everyday snacking and as an addiction to my backpack.

tasty snack
I love this snack because it is healthy but I just wish it were organic as I am wondering if pesticides are concentrated into this bag. I am keto/low carb and this subs as a crunch type snack. Sometimes I combine with some nuts and make a type of trail mix but it is obviously fewer calories without this idea.

crunchy, naturally sweet. Snack on, or add to soups
Love freezed dried fruits and vegetables. The natural sweetness level is greatly increased, making for an interesting treat to snack on direct from bag. Yet can also be added to soups, etc for a "back to broccoli" taste. I have had their cauliflower and liked it enough to want to try some other varieties. Good stuff!

Tasty, better than raw
These freeze dried broccoli florets are quite tasty. Personally, I prefer cooked over raw broccoli, as I find raw to have a harsh off-putting flavor. These do not have that raw broccoli taste and are probably somewhere in between. My dog enjoys them too!

Makes a great snack!!
We got a smaller bag of the freeze dried broccoli as a gift for our pup who has been on quite the steamed broccoli kick these past few months.Since getting this, we have replaced all of her dried/crunchy treats with this broccoli and the dog LOVES IT!!Make sure to keep the silica pack in the bag until it’s empty to keep it dry (DONT EAT THE LITTLE PACKET).And toward the end of the bag when it’s mostly powder I put a spoonful of what’s left in her food and she thinks she’s getting a special reward.Best dog treat ever if your pup likes broccoli!!

Allergen info
For anyone with allergies, be aware the packaging says these are made in a facility that handles some major allergens (see photo). This isn’t returnable, so I wasted $20 and wanted to make sure others don’t find themselves in the same boat. I definitely appreciate the allergy warning but wish it was on the actual product page on Amazon.
