A really sweet and genuine romance, but priced on the high side at $7.99
I noticed several of my friends and given positive reviews for this book so I decided to give it a try. Here is my breakdown:The pros:* I love the characters - I think animal lovers (like myself) will adore this read* It had a good balance of suspense* It didn’t have an insta-love feel to it - the relationship between the hero and heroine was well developed* Great character development* Perfect epilogueThe cons:* Quite over-priced at its current $7.99 priceOverall, this was a very sweet and satisfying romance with just the right balance of suspense. I will definitely check out more of this writers work.

Awesome book!
I Loved Ben Longtree's character! I definitely felt compassion for him and all he had been through. I also enjoyed Jeremy, having kids in a story adds humor and considering the seriousness of the characters' lives it's nice to have some levity. All truly loved all of the character except of course for Bobby Lee. It was also very interesting to learn about the Shoshone beliefs and their appreciation for the world and animals.

Romance was beautiful but...
There was a key plot line in which the heroine acted consistently stupid in a way that was highly frustrating to read. Still, the actual romance and particularly the hero, a child, and everything about them were so well told and sufficiently unique for me to rate this highly enough to convince you to give it a try. Just be prepared to roll your eyes a few times at some of the choices and justifications the heroine uses along the way.

Wonderful story
This is one of Catherine Anderson’s best ever book. Wonderful story with a twist is mystery, romance and so much heart. I have read everything this author has written and I loved this one. Hope she comes out with a second one.

Only By Your Touch
I like Catherine Anderson books including this one. She is such a good writer. I just wish she didn’t include graphic sex in her stories.

Healing
I totally loved this story. Again Catherine Anderson did not disappoint. I love the way she takes very normal people who have some very sad things happen in their lives. Thanks again for a wonderful story.

A wonderful, feel good story
This story is so good. A mystery and a love story that warms the heart. Chloe and Ben are a great couple.

A good and different story set in modern times.
This was a very different type of story line. Very interesting to read but I feel that it was lacking the expected emotional depth that you would find in her books. It was not the type of story that kept me wanting to see what would happen next so that is why I gave it only three stars.

Good read
Chloe has moved to Jack Pine with her 6 year old son Jeremy. Ben Longtree, quarter Shoshone, inhabits Cinnamon Ridge nearby. He is shunned by the locals as a murderer, even though he was found innocent. Their paths cross as Ben, a vet, heals Jeremy's puppy. But is there more to him and why do certain law officers hate him? An enjoyable story with good characters. I couldn't understand however, how frequently Jeremy was left with a baby sitter or left while Chloe drove her home. Are the laws about leaving a 6 year old different in the USA?

Einfach wunderbar....
