Pearhead Inkless Baby Hand and Footprint Kit, Clean-Touch, Newborn, 1-Pack

This is my second time purchasing this product with my second newborn. It’s easy to use and does exactly what I need to. I love that It doesn’t get messy on the baby.

I wish I had purchased these under happier circumstances. But the ink pads captured my fur baby's paws beautifully. It adhered to the paper well, and I was even able to get a extra paw stamp or two from the same ink pad (Cat Paws - Smaller Space Used) Happy I have prints of my baby to keep forever now.

I am genuinely ashamed to write this review. I'm probably the only person on earth too stupid for this product. I followed the instructions but no ink went on my baby's foot (!). So I turned it around and put the ink on baby's foot and did his footprint. Please watch a video and don't be like me. Product five stars. User one star.

I bought these because I was having a baby and wanted to get her footprints. The first time I tried to do it was a fail, too much ink and you couldn’t see the print very well because it was super black. The second time I did it off the same ink pad I did the first time and if it wasn’t line up perfectly then you got some print that was darker than the rest. It took me a few times to get it the way I liked it, without it being too dark or too faint. I did love that I wasn’t messy!

I actually used this to get my cats paw print tattooed! They worked wonders.

I really wanted to love this handprint kit, but it didn’t quite work for what I needed. My baby is 8 weeks old, and I bought this specifically to capture her tiny hand and foot prints to make ornaments and keepsakes. The biggest issue is the ink pad size — it’s very small, which makes it hard to get a clear print from a wiggly newborn. You pretty much get one shot because the ink fades quickly after the first use, so there’s no room for trial and error. If the print doesn’t come out right the first time, that’s it. I think this could work better for older babies or toddlers but for brand-new moms trying to capture those early newborn prints, I wouldn’t recommend it. I was hoping for something more forgiving and reusable. Overall, it’s a nice concept, just not the right fit for my situation — so the search for the perfect baby print kit continues.

These are excellent. Very easy to use, absolutely no mess at all, and they come with enough to do a "test run" in case you do make a mistake! I used these on my dog to get pawprints and a nose print, and they worked perfectly. I found it was easy if I taped the paper to the ink pad, then used a sturdy surface like a book to tape the whole apparatus to so that it wouldn't slide or smudge. My dog isn't the biggest fan of things on her feet, so I'm happy this was able to be done with very quick and minimal pressure. Definitely recommend for a cheap but fun activity that will leave you with an impression of your animal (or baby)!

Whilst the instructions were very basic, it is really easy to use! No mess and baby didn’t even know I’d taken her foot and hand prints. They came out really clearly. Perfect.

We was surprised how amazing this product are, no mess, no dirty and super easy to use.
