Portable Sound Machine

Traveling with a newborn/baby is hard. You think so much on what to bring & not to bring. If you're like me you're an overpacker lol. But I knew I HAD to bring a sound machine, not just for the plane but for helping baby to sleep in the hotel. Because my baby slept with white noise at home, we wanted the hotel environment to be the same so it's easy for her to sleep. You can't go wrong with Frida products in general. What I love the most about this is the size. And for this to be such a small portable size, the sound is amazing. You can also have the machine attach to anything, on a backpack, on the bed, on the stroller, on anything really as it has a built in lanyard thing. Sounds vary from static white noise, waves, outdoor birds and one more I forgot lol. But my baby's fave is the ocean waves. Did I mention it also is a night light! It's super useful when the room is too dark & the baby needs some light. Also it makes it easy to find the machine in the dark in the middle of the night to shut off or turn up/down the volume. We have it on all night so it might die a little faster for us. But the machine does charge fast & the battery does last long. I'm so happy I chose this one rather than the other "recommended" products in baby blogs.

Can’t recommend this enough!! It’s the perfect size and I love how the hanging feature - easy to hang up. I think it’s the perfect loudness and the night light has 3 different brightness settings. It’s perfect for travel. We use it in the car , at hotels & even during naps on the go

Love this product! We didn't have one for our first one and decided to get one for our second and it has saved us so many times especially with her colic and reflux at night helped soothe her to sleep. Works great for the car as well! The only thing is sometimes it's hard to see the buttons. I wish they made the buttons a little more easy to find. It's light weight and the battery lasts a long time I've only had to charge it once so far for the last 2 weeks. The light has 3 different settings. I also love that it comes with multiple sounds and the heart beat sound sometimes I'll put that on and gently pat her butt to mimc the heart from beat feeling.

This sound machine is almost perfect which is hard to find in baby items. The sounds are incredible and has a nice range of low to high. I personally love how loud it can get, as others don’t quite have that option. The size is good and nice to have around, it’s not heavy and surprisingly lightweight. The light is okay, the highest setting is very dim so it would only be helpful if it was right beside you or something. I never had a use for the light, so it never bothered me but If that was important to you, it might be annoying. Now comes the two problems. The buttons are hard to find. They blend in so you have to actually look to see which is which, I wish they were more protruded/out or at least a different color. I’d always change the sound instead of doing the volume or turning on the light due to that issue. Second is the strap. In order for the strap to lay straight it makes the speaker lay flat on whatever you’re hanging it on (in my case stroller) so it would muffle the noise out. Due to it being silicone it would always turn back to the correct position so the machine wouldn’t lay nicely. Also trying to latch it on was so hard, it was a struggle. I wish taking the strap to become a loop wouldn’t be such a big thing and easier. Also my baby would easily be able to pull it off the stroller, so I was always nervous it’d fall out without me realizing it. Those two things were really annoying, I hope they’ll change that in the future. Everything else was nice and better than other travel sound machines so I still believe it’s a must have.

Alright, I do love this sound machine. There's a ton of different sounds, the volume goes up pretty high, there's a night light and you can set a timer on the sounds... but what you wouldn't know before you buy it is that the buttons can be really hard to find and distinguish one from another (especially in the dark). I have yet to memorize (i've had this for about 2 weeks now) where the buttons are because sometimes I turn the off button when I'm trying to turn the night light on (they are right next to each other) - which OOPS is not good at all when your baby is highly sensitive to sound and NEEDS that sound on to stay sleep. With that being said.... CONS: buttons being hard to find and being so close to each other PROS: lots of different sounds, volume can go pretty high or just low enough to be perfect, love that there's a night light and you have 3 different options for a timer so it can turn off automatically. I've only charged this ONCE in 2 weeks and I've left it on all night about 2 times and have used it every nap time. Now with the reason why I bought this: My baby loves the shushing sound. I would always have to shush her to sleep and it was getting exhausting. So I thought I'd buy a shushing machine. When I did research on a shushing machine, I found one called the baby shusher. I thought, "perfect. exactly what I need". (that's the competitor orange one you see around if you've done the research like me). What really upset me about that one is that it doesn't stay on more than 30 minutes. There's an auto shut for either 15mins or 30 mins and when you have a baby like mine - she WILL wake up when it turns off. So I tried that one and this baby girl was waking up every 30 minutes when it would turn off. Needless to say I ran on amazon again to find a better alternative and this one was the winner. Does the job, stays on all night and baby girl has been sleeping better! WIN WIN for mama!

The Frida Baby portable sound machine has become an essential item in our household. I love being able to turn this sound machine on for 15 minutes or ALL night if needed! My daughters favorite sounds for sleep are the shusher and fan/white noise. She also liked the rain sound too. I love that it has more than 3 sounds and they are all high quality! I had another machine and it sounded terrible compared to this! I ran mine over a few mothes ago with my car (oops) but it was only a little dinged up and has worked like a charm since!! See photo! It's nice to attach to the carseat while traveling and keeps baby asleep even if you stop! We traveled from Montana to Kansas with my sister and her 8mo old loved the machine and it was so soothing for him on the long trip! After seeing that I had get one! At night it provided just enough light to do what you need to. Whether feeding your baby or changing a diaper. The days of backing slowly out of the nursery while making shushing sounds until you are out of breath are OVER! This machine is a life saver! 🙌

This is a LIFESAVER! I got one at my baby shower and my daughter still uses it 2 years later! The machine still works like new. The battery lasts for a long time, it’s super easy and lightweight to take with us when we go anywhere. There’s a nightlight setting, the timer is great. I’ve recommended this to many of my friends and family, they all love it as well. Definitely worth the money!

I’ve ordered three of these machines now as our family has grown. They work great, are solid when inevitably thrown, and the customer care team stands by their products. When one started intermittently malfunctioning, they immediately initiated a replacement. That’s worth the extra cost on the front end to me! Highly recommend.

It cancels out outside noise beautifully. My baby sleeps like a dream with this. Now even I love sleeping with this on. Favorite setting is white noise. The "shhhh" one is little scary for me.

Lasted 8 months and now can’t be switched off anymore, not worth the money, would have expected it to last longer for this price. However sound quality is good.
