They are twenty dollars cheaper on their website

They are $14 cheaper on their website, but that doesn't include shipping and I can't get their website to stop crapping out. I rather pay Amazon the extra $14 and get them on Saturday.

why won't it stick to metal? it just barely has any magnetic property

The magnetic property of the balls is for a theraputic use. Not for sticking a grocery list on to the refrigerator.

How do you arrange the magnet balls in the case?

You will see 5 large red nodes on each ball, and a sixth large black node where you would expect the sixth large red node. Place the large black node just above the center notch inside the case. The small black node below the large black node is what goes into the center notch inside the case.
