Hanizi Bird Feeder Outdoor Hanging for Wild Bird Seed, Green

I couldn’t be happier with this bird feeder! It’s well-built, easy to fill, and has quickly become one of my favorite additions to the yard. Within the first day, birds were already stopping by, and now it’s busy from sunrise to sunset. I love sitting with my morning coffee and watching the different birds gather it has brought so much life and beauty to my outdoor space. The feeder holds a good amount of seed, keeps it dry, and is easy to clean. If you’re looking for a quality feeder that attracts plenty of feathered visitors, this one is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend! Durability built, no assembly, fits larger seeds.

I love the simplicity and ease of this feeder. I'll be honest with you though. I was not going to write a great review purely because it was smaller than I thought it looked (regardless of measurements given). However, after observing the birds at the feeder, because of the perfect size of the feeder I am now actually serving those birds that I wanted to serve and not the larger red-bellied woodpecker and other larger birds that truly tend to throw seed out to the ground while they search only for specific seeds. With this feeder and this size, I am getting my desired birds which are cardinals, blue bunting, Carolina wren, tufted titmouse, warblers, tanagers, etc. Additionally, when the larger birds have visited the feeder and throw down what they don't want, I generally end up with an abundance of squirrels who then quarrel over what's on the ground, essentially scaring away the birds that could conceivably clean up seed that is on the ground. So this feeder--and in particular its perfect size--has resolved a domino-effect of issues and I am so very happy with that.

The lid stays on this feeder much better than similar feeders with a differently shaped lid, even when squirrels hang on it. And squirrels seem less prone to hang on it than other similar feeders. It has also withstood our resident bear emptying it out a number of times. If he pulls the top off, the hinges snap back together easily. If he pulls the bottom piece off, I just line up the pegs at the bottom of the feeder with the holes in the bottom piece, set it on the floor and press firmly, and it snaps back together. A sturdy wire through the lid, feeder, and bottom piece ensures that the pieces remain connected.

Well made product, attracts a lot of birds. Looks great out there in the garden. Size is just right for the little birds.

Poorly designed. Rain drips down the wire, through the hole in the roof, attaching to the seeds inside. They stick together. They start to mold. The mold starts to spread. Everything solidifies. Birds don’t come to the feeder. It doesn’t drain out of the bottom of a tray well enough either. Probably could be fixed with the right rubber collar in the hole on the roof, but there are better options that work right out of the box. I thought these would be really good after reading the reviews, but four rain storms in three weeks have proven that this is going to continue happening. It’s just a bad design.

I wanted a feeder specifically for small birds without spending too much. This has exceeded my expectations so much that I ordered another one. Birds such as chickadees, goldfinches, sparrows, etc sized up to and including cardinals & orioles have no problem eating from it. The Blue Jays are too large but the starlings and grackles have found a way to sit sidewise but it is awkward for them so they don’t spend more than a few seconds getting seeds. I have even seen the pileated woodpeckers hang from the edge to grab peanuts. They are very easy to refill and after having them for 4 months in the summer I haven’t noticed any waste build up or wet seeds at the bottom of the feeder.

Pro: this is a great size that holds plenty of seeds, the perches seem sturdy, and the top is wide enough that seed doesn't get wet in the rain. Cons: The top of this feeder is very easily popped open if a squirrel is hanging off it, giving them access to the entire reservoir of food.

It is exactly as advertised and is a lovely addition to my garden. Perfect in every regard.

Muito bom e prático para utilizar, pois é fácil para abrir e colocar as sementes que os pássaros gostam como, por exemplo, o milho alpiste e painço. Outra qualidade do produto é não entrar água quando chove.
