August 31, 2020-30 days later. I use it when I'm on my deck so approximately 2 to 4 hours a day. It runs well and is very quiet. 4500 is a lot of water; I added a flow nozzle to restrict flow and that's worked well.I got the pump on August 1, 2020. It's been a week and I have no idea how long it will last. I run it when I'm at my pond, but not any other time; that will add to the time it last. The nose is supposed to be adjustable. This pump is NOT adjustable. You can remove the nose cone to clean it, but not change the direction of flow. I tried and the unit pushed nothing; it's meant for one direction-up. I'm disappointed about it, because I did not want to see the hose sticking up above the water line like the lock ness monster's hump! Haha, but the pump pushes a lot of water and I'm glad I went higher for flow and not lower. This pump is not a trickle pump. It pumps water as much as my garden hose on full. Very pleased with the GPH.

Pump works great and has better flow that high price pond pumps ,installed and keeps up with all filters and waterfalls
