This is my 2nd order because this is the BEST charcoal we've ever used for grilling. It's pricey but worth it!!

Very efficient charcoal, it starts quickly and small amount produce much heat. No chemical odors and no fluid needed to start

This stuff was not very good for me. Burns quick, crumbles fast, and had more issues lighting than the lump I was used to. Got 2 grills out of an entire bag. Tried in a Weber Kettle.

Didn't work wouldn't stay lit

Some of the claims are a bit extravagant and it is eye-wateringly expensive, but it does give off very little smoke and smell. I found that using normal charcoal in my cheap barbecue filled the neighborhood with smoke (I am amazed nobody complained) but these briquettes are much better. I am not embarrassed to grill anymore. It does also seem to burn hotter than conventional charcoal, which is better for cooking. I still use propane to light it - it can take a while to get up to temperature after the propane has burnt off, but does get there.

Nontoxic brick hats work better than charcoal. Reusable as well. They burn hot. You don’t need many basically it’s organic and the smaller bag is easy to transport.

Good charcoal does a good job on steak, hamburgers and any other meat you add to your setup works well burns hot

The outer box looks normal until I opened up the parcel to find the inner wrapper soaked in some sort of cheap fragrance oil. The scent was so strong and oily that it took me a long time to clean up the mess. My hands still smell of it even after many wash. I only hope that the charcoal inside the package are not affected. I did not open it as couldn’t stand the smell further.
