Special Agent Gabriel Scott is the best that the FBI’s Hate Crime division has to offer. When he comes to Plymouth, Massachusetts, to investigate a series of apparent hate crimes, he quickly realizes everything is not what it seems. When the town’s prettiest alpha lawyer starts laying it on thick, he knows that something’s definitely not right. So does his temporary partner, Plymouth PD Sergeant Vinnie Curtis. Vinnie’s lived in Plymouth his whole life and he knows Plymouth isn’t a hateful place, so he resents the demand for FBI involvement. He’s not sure if he’s more or less upset that said involvement comes in the form of a drop-dead gorgeous omega who seems to be made for him.Gabriel is called in early during the investigation at the request of local law enforcement. A good thing, before any deaths occur, but the crimes are escalating in violence toward minorities. Strangely enough, all minority groups are being targeted not a single one, making this case quite different. Vinnie wants to dislike Gabriel because he is a fed but he cannot help liking him and how good he is at his job. Vinnie also has a deep issue that has not been resolved since he was a teenager.

I love this story. Frankly, I can't think of much to say that's negative. Aside from the inexplicable male pregnancy thing (Really? Coz they're not shifters, and they're not sea horses!), I can find only one other issue. Vinnie, the Alpha, can be a real jerk, but he's broken, and since he loves Gabe, who's the tough FBI Agent, I end up forgiving him. I will say no more. Just read it...trust me, you'll love the way the guys come together, the way their feelings grow, and the sweet, warm twist at the end.

A thin story. And when the MC's have the classical "misunderstanding', it's even thinner. No one would react like they do. It just became ridiculous and l lost interest. Sorry, but not a good read for me.

I really enjoyed and loved reading this wonderful book it was lovely written. I loved the relationship between Vinnie and Gabe. I loved that they got their happy ending and their happy little family at the end too. I loved the twists and turns in this book. I will recommend this book to everybody I know and to all my friends too. 👏

This is a fantastic story. Gabe and Vinnie are two very different, strong characters. I also appreciated the relationship between Gabe and Bagel. That was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed this story so much. The plot was very interesting and written at a nice steady pace. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!

I have really gotten into this writer and this story did not let me down. Gabe and Vinnie's story was well done and I really love how Aiden Bates makes me fall into into the story. I always end up wanting more. I highly recommend this book and the writer!

This is probably my favorite Aiden Bates book yet. Gabe and Vinnie were both a bit damaged and unable to trust at the beginning of the story, but when they opened up to one another, it was awesome.
