Densifique Densité Shampoo – For Thinning Hair

I have fine, long hair and am over 45. I’ve been struggling with extra shedding for years. It’s a natural part of aging, but you’d struggle to find any woman who is ok with thinning hair. I began using this with the conditioner and the serum. It makes my hair extremely soft and it smells ah-MAZING! The first time I used it I spoke out loud to myself in the shower and said, “Oh, my god!” It smells that good. I regularly get compliments on the way I smell. I’m a teacher and the kids will say, “Did you use that shampoo this morning?!” The answer is always yes. Some kids will even grab my hair and smell it which I don’t mind. Aside from its incredible scent (it’s heavily scented, if you couldn’t pick up on that already, so if you’re sensitive to smell this may not be for you) my hair shedding has reduced to next to nothing. I’ll lose maybe 3 strands now in the shower when it used to be 15-20+. At the same time I started using this, I also broke down the vitamins in a very popular and very expensive hair vitamin (you know the one, iykyk) and researched reputable brands of vitamins to create my own blend. I use a multivitamin, turmeric, fish oil and a sublingual 10,000mg biotin. I also never let my hair air dry anymore. The less time you spend with wet hair sitting in your scalp, the better. Think of your fingernails and how soft they get when they are wet; the same holds true with your hair. However you can get it dry in the safest way, do it. I do use heat but I also use a heat protectant and am gentle with everything I do (I use a wet brush). All of these things combined have changed my hair. I have baby hairs sprouting on my hairline and I’m excited to see what it looks like in 9-12 months. Yes, it’s expensive but if you can afford it you won’t be sorry. Oh! And a little goes a LONG way. My hair is to my bra line and I use about a quarter size amount. I get a thick, rich lather. I first purchased this in late August and now at the beginning of November I had to reorder. I wash everyday to every other day.

I'm using it and I really like it. Leave my hair soft, clean and smelling nice. Although the price is a bit high, I think it's a good quality shampoo. I recommend it.

I’ve been using Kérastase shampoo for almost a year, and I’m honestly impressed. From the very first wash, my hair felt noticeably softer, smoother, and healthier. I have been suffering from post-menopausal hair thinning for a while now and have tried everything - Nutrafol, Minoxidil, etc. This works better than *anything* I have tried. After only going through a single bottle, I have noticeably less thinning and there is so much less hair in my brush and in the sink when I get ready in the mornings. I can even run my fingers through my hair now and apply conditioner without coming away with a bunch of hair in my hands. Yes, it's expensive. But as some other reviewers have noted, a little goes a long way with this stuff. It also smells great. And it's way cheaper than some of the other things I've tried. Who knows if what works for me will work for many others, but if you have hair thinning that is hormonal in origin, I highly recommend giving this a try. Game changer.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SHAMPOO. IT SMELLS SO GOOD AND LATHERS UP NICE. RINSES OUT EASY. I ALSO USE THE CONDITIONER AND I LOVE IT AS WELL. WHETHER I LET MY HAIR AIR DRY OR IF I BLOW DRY IT MY HAIR IS SO SMOOTH, SOFT AND SILKY. ALSO LEAVES MY SCALP CLEAN AND SMELLING GREAT. MY HAIR ALSO STAYS LESS OILY LONGER. I LOVE THAT IT HAS CERIMIDES AND ESPECIALLY HYALURONIC ACID IN IT. ONLY DOWNFALL IS IT IS PRICEY BUT IT'S WORTH IT FOR ME BECAUSE OF THE INGREDIENTS AND THE RESULTS I GET FROM USING IT.

After trying many, many shampoo's & conditioner's for my hair loss & thinning, I have to admit it has worked out amazing for me. I hesitated posting until I was for sure on this product because it is very costly and slightly out of my budget ,but it has worked better than I expected. Very happy to finally find the right products for my hair that has helped. I have both the shampoo & conditioner. Try it..

I don’t leave reviews often but I have to for this product. I was having so much hair shedding after going through 7 rounds of IVF, on and off hormones. Nothing was helping my hair and I tried so many different products. I finally decided to just spend the money and try this shampoo. When I tell you my hair shedding slowed down 50% by the 3rd wash I was amazed. Now I barely shed 1-5 hairs when I wash and I’m just now having to buy my second bottle. I’m also having so much regrowth from places my hair really thinned out during all the treatments. I recently put my sister on it who was also hesitant about the price and she was obsessed after the first use. If you struggle with thin or shedding hair this is the only product I would recommend. 10/10

I bought this product because the Amazon search for stemoxydine products yielded it as a top result. Stemoxydine is a Loreal’s, Kerastase parent company’s, patented hairloss treatment present in their Serioxyl range. However, Serioxyl, specifically serum is hard to come by. I wanted to get a product in Kerastase which is regards as the highest quality hair products beand. The product range photos for this - Densifique range - still feature the previous formulation with stemoxydine yet the product being shipped is the formulation witb gluco-peptides. Please note that upon careful inspection, you will encounter “hyaluronic + gluco-peptides” where for gluco-peptides it states that they penetrate hair cuticle, which is highly unlikely, esspecially if you have untreated thin, straight, virgin hair cutticle. Due to structure of the hair the hair cuttocle becomes more porous if the hair has been bleached, heat treates or if it is more curly/coily as cutticle cells are looser and more open for the peptides to be able to penatrate into the cortex. Previous combination of stemoxydine and hyaluronic acid made more sense as hyaluronic acid would help stemoxydine penetratiom into the scalp to stimulate and jumpstart hair regrowth and therefore actually inpaxt hair density and not just “appareance of volume/thickness/density.” There is nothing a gluco-peptide can do for appearance of your hair appearance thicker if it does not work on the root/scalp. Nothing can improve appearance of the damaged bonds or hair if it dows jot have acid in it to smoothen out the hair and give it kore lively appearance; for that I would rather Invest biti acid based bond repair treatment. I used the product and the product itself felt premium due to the scent which makes you feel like a high class lady with pearls Getting her hair shampooed at a high-end salon. I appreciated the texture after the was as it dried. I was happy for the remainder of the evening. Unfortunately, the next day I woke up and my hair looked more weighed down, greasy and far less volumized than with three times cheaper drugstore dermatologist recommended anti-inflamatory medicates shampoo that is proven to aid in hair regrowth and has an active ingredient. This shampoo made my hair more greasy flaster than Herbal Essences or Garnier Frctiw did with their early 2000’s formulations. I do see how someone with overtreated curly hair might benefit from this product but will they be reaching for a hair product range that is called “densifique” if they have that kind of hair? Highly unlikely. For the price they should have a couple of proven actives in the formula. Thus, this was absolute and utrke waste of money and their Amazon product site is capitalizinf on customers who are hoping to get a product with stemoxydine.

Llevo un tiempo usando el champú Kérastase Densifique Femme y sinceramente estoy muy satisfecha con los resultados. Desde las primeras aplicaciones noté mi cabello más suave, manejable y con una sensación de limpieza profunda. La textura del producto es ligera, hace buena espuma y deja una fragancia agradable y duradera. Con el uso constante, he notado que mi cabello luce con más cuerpo y volumen. Me atrevo a decir que incluso se siente un poco más grueso, o al menos esa es la sensación al tacto y al peinarlo. También me gusta que no deja el cabello pesado ni con residuos, algo que me pasaba con otros champús. Después de secarlo, se nota más brillante y con movimiento natural. Es ideal para cabellos finos o con tendencia a perder densidad, porque aporta vitalidad sin apelmazar. Además, lo combina perfectamente con otros productos de la misma línea para potenciar el efecto. En resumen, es un champú que cumple lo que promete: limpia, fortalece y mejora visiblemente la textura del cabello. Sin duda, volvería a comprarlo porque siento mi melena más sana, suave y con más vida. ¡Vale la pena la inversión!
