Wilderness Salmon Paté Adult Wet Cat Food, 3 oz, 24 ct

I first gave this 5 stars, my kitty seemed to like this. However, It made my kitty sick! I had to stop feeding her this! Since I stopped this food, she is feeling better. Not sure what is wrong with this, and, for the price, I'm sorry I ever bought this!

I normally buy the sample platter for my two spoiled cats. It has like salmon, chicken, and duck. Well, this was their fav. I will admit the consistency of this particular flavor is odd and off-putting to me. It's rather watery and doesn't hold a shape once out of the can. If you have used wet food for any period of time, you know this isn't the norm. But the girls scarf it down. Great food.

I purchased 24 cans of this product on Amazon Smile. I have purchased this before at a store and my new cats loved it, so I thought I'd purchase from Amazon and if all worked out, order it on a monthly auto delivery plan. I have only opened two cans so far and they are not pate' texture. They are like cans of runny gravy. I'm very disappointed! The expiration date on these cans is Dec. 20, 2022, so they are not expired. I am updating this review. I notified AMAZON regarding this order and they are sending a new batch. I am impressed with AMAZON’s quick response so I give 5 stars for their service. I will update my review of this product after I receive my replacement. Review update: I contacted Amazon regarding this item. They were very quick in their response and offered to send me a replacement case. The replacement arrived quickly and met up to my expectations. I am completely satisfied! Thank you!

This is all my cat will eat.

I like another reviewer have purchased this product in the past and not had problems Only recently have I found the product to arrive (SALMON specifically) gray in color and smelling fermented. The cats were hesitant to eat it but since the had it in the past did so. They each proceeded to have runny deposits in the litterbox. Lucky for me once I discontinued it they each recovered. I can not recommend the Salmon version online. It should be purchased locally so if you come across cans that are smelly and gray you can bring them in and show the store. A phone call to Blue Wilderness might be worth making as well - perhaps they have an explanation for this. The CHICKEN flavor product is consistently good looking to the eye and smells fine but the pets are not very interested in that version.

Great ingredients which I have found makes a big difference in the health and energy of my cats. I would give it 5 stars but oddly one of my two cats won't eat it. Not sure why. My other one loves it and likes that there's more for him since the other doesn't eat her share. My thought is it's just an odd preference of my cat and not a problem with product in any way.

My three adopted cats love this Blue Buffalo canned catfood.

Update: I got a new case and 2 of my cats won't touch it, not sure why. This is the only brand and flavor that all 5 of my cats will eat. I've tried other brands that were salmon and 2 of them wouldn't eat it. I like that I can buy 24 cans of just salmon .
