You can remove/pull bullet from the brass case and put whatever you like inside........... some has said bullet is not "crimped" and can fall out or be removed quite easily........Don't think it would be wise to put something in it of any value since bullet could fall out and you lose whatever you've put in........ But someone asked about putting a "past one's" ashes in it. I would then glue the bullet into case to secure

Yes, real case real bullet, just no gun powder and no primer. There is nothing explosive in the bullet.
