Animewild #NAME?

This is the third armored core kit I've assembled and it confirms that kotobukiya has done a fine job with this line of models.Algebra soluth barbaroi is #17 in armored core's next series and the last kit released before the most recent v series launched a few years ago. It's name is very interesting, barbaroi which means barbarians in Greek, makes it an appealing moniker and creates many different associations along with algebra and whatever soluh means. Cool.The model itself is amazingly detailed and looks great when finished. It comes molded in 5 colours and has around 300 parts. The assembly was simple and relatively quick, especially when compared to a.c vengeance and white glint+v.o.b, that each had over 500 pieces. It took around 8-10 hours to complete and did not require any glue. The manual called for it once during the hip assembly but I found that glue was not really required in this instance. All parts went together tightly and with extreme precision. This model contains one of the smallest pieces I've ever seen (clear yellow head lense) but I was surprised at how easily it went into place. Maybe I just got lucky.The design of this model is its greatest asset. It is reminiscent of samus aran's mech suit in the legendary metroid series and even the colours are similar. A.C barbaroi is a tall and thin model full of antennae, boosters and sharp, angled details with fantastic colour separation throughout. It is a very stable kit and stands effortlessly. It comes with a few accessories like 2 separate pairs of hands, 2 different guns and a rear-mounted missile pod. The kit finally contains waterslide decals of a wolf seal for barbaroi's shoulder to complete it out of the box. Even the boxart looks great and makes you want to get started.I really like armored core models and believe they easily rival any bandai master grade. I also think that this particular kit is an excellent place to start because it doesnt have an absurd amount of parts like some other models in the line. It is also priced to sell so try it out before it jumps to double what it costs now. I sadly witnessed this happen to 6 armored core models in the past 3 months so it probably won't stay at $40 for long.

Beautiful build. Takes roughly 10~15 hrs to complete unpainted. Very stable standing up, and joints are the right amount of stiffness.

Perfect condition like always from Kotobukiya.Everything fits perfectly without the use of glue/cement.All parts can move, so you can put the AC in a cool posture.

アマゾンで購入しました。まったくコトブキ屋さんのクオリティは毎回変態ですね笑塗装したりなどしてから組み立てましたが、素晴らしいの一言。他の方もおっしゃってましたが、軽量機ですがドッシリしていて昆虫の様なフレームがたまりません！右足に付けるスタビライザーが取れやすかったので接着剤で固定しました。久しぶりにVI買いましたがとても満足です！コトブキ屋さんにはまだまだお世話になります！

素晴らしくかっこいい機体です。プロポーションもいいです。足の稼働は文句なし。ただやっぱり腕が残念だった。ひじはほぼ90度しか曲がりません。武器の合わせ目消しがまだ楽だと思ったのは感覚が麻痺してるだけかな。

063に続き新規パーツ多数のバルバロイがアンケートに応えて登場。サラフコアはジョシュアグリントにも使われていましたがそれ以外のパーツは全て新規で相変わらずのコトブキヤクオリティでディテールは十分、モナカでシンプルな武装ですがコレがサラフには良く似合う。組み易く可動範囲も(VIにしては)中々な物で、付いていてもタンポ印刷の物が多かったエンブレムはデカール方式になっており塗装派も満足できます。この商品の最大のポイントはやはり時間が経った作品の機体でもアンケート次第で出してくれることが有るということが実証されたことでしょう。この調子でプロメシュースやレイテルパラッシュ、リザなどのまだ出ぬ主役級機体の登場にも期待できますし頑張ってもらいたいものです。

とりあえずパチ組してみた感じですが、一言で言うと・・・なまめかしい。元デザインのヌメッとしたラインがうまく立体になっています。また、バランスも良好で、軽量二脚の割りにドッシリしています。同じ計量のアスピナＷＧがややボリューム不足だったのに対して、こちらは程よく太っています。組み立てに関しても文句はないです。脚部は挟み込みが多く、後ハメ工作が面倒な部分もありますが、それはそれ。一部ちょっと面倒なだけで多くは合わせ目が目立たない構成になっています。成形色もそれなり以上ですからかなりオススメ度は高いです。
