I'm a size 9. Are they true to size?

I have a wide foot and thought the regular to be about a half size small. I’m usually 10.5 and needed an 11.

For the care instructions it says machine wash, can you really machine wash these?

Personally, I would not machine wash leather sneakers. Cole Haan sells specific cleaning products for their shoes.
