Just got them, and I'm really happy with these boots. I was shoveling snow in them within an hour and they're very comfortable, warm, and dry. Not stiff at all out of the box. They feel lightweight but durable. Time will tell how they hold up. First impressions: 1. They are much more comfortable than three other similar pairs I tried from other sites/big box stores. 2. I wear a nine. These fit like a glove. Perfect. 3. The laces run down onto the toe box a bit, so you can tighten them as you wish. 4. The toe box is large enough to use inserts for plantar fasciitis, etc... This is a big plus for me. The inserts actually improved the fit a bit. 5. The leather parts look shineable. They'll look great with a decent polish. 6. The zipper on the side is nice but unnecessary: I find it easier just use the laces when putting them on. The zippers on both boots were a little sticky from a drop of glue that had oozed onto them. No big deal, I just scraped the glue and dangling threads off and they worked fine. Not worth returning them over it. Overall, I really like these boots. The price is terrific too.

My husband absolutely loves these boots, the look, the comfort, and the quality. He wears them for work everyday 8 hours on his feet so he puts them through alot, he wears them in the rain, snow, dirt, and mud and they hold up and last for a pretty good stretch of time. The quality seems to have improved over the last 2 years too, they are holding up better and longer even though he still puts them through the ringer everyday. By powerful I mean I wear these everyday, all day. Indoor, outdoor, at the time of this review they are my only footware. Why the 4 star instead of five? While they seem more durable than a crowbar, the insoles are sadly not. Disintegrated in under 2 months, leaving a honeycomb pattern that bit into my foot and grated cheap insoles like they were cheese. Easily fixed by buying quality insoles to replace them. Aside from that? Comfortable, durable, long lasting so far, and stylish as well as super easy to take on and off: Once tied and tucked, the laces stay without loosening and despite hot summers, snowy winters and infrequent rain, these boots don't quit. Better than walmart or even bootworld at a fraction of the price.

I am a boot wearing old guy! I have cheap boots and expensive boots, dress boots and yard-work boots, boat boots, kayaking boots and motorcycle boots. I have owned several pairs from Nortiv8. Like all of them for one reason or another. I bought these military/tactical boots for motorcycle riding. They are replacing the soft brown pair in the photo. I went with the leather forefoot for shifting protection. They are well made, fit perfect, offer protection for my ankles, and the zipper is the additional feature that caused me to try them. So far, I am pleased with them. Comfortable, protective, and easy on-off. And of course I must mention they are all around as good as some more costly name-brand boots I've owned. Well done Nortiv! Oct 2025 Normally I wait 6 months to write a review so I have more experience with a product, but these boots rate immediate comments. Comfort, these boots are superior to numerous name brand and far more expensive boots I have tried. I put these on the day they arrived to wear around the house for awhile. Within an hour or so they were feeling broken in. Next day I wore them all day and they felt great the whole time. Construction, appears to be very well done. There is a row of stitching at the top of the molded sole that I am hoping will prevent separation of the sole from the foot bed which is a problem with boots and sneakers of similar construction.. Of course they cannot be resoled, so how long they will hold up is yet to be seen. At the present price point, if they last 8 or more months they will prove to be an excellent value. Sizing, I wear 13-13.5 US men's and am very happy with the 13 I ordered. At this time I highly recommend this boot and will update as to durability in the coming months. I am not familiar with this brand, Nortiv 8, beyond this purchase but am impressed so far. Update, 14 June 2026 These boots are now 8 months used and continue to perform well. I have worn them every day, 14-16 hours a day and they still feel awesome on my feet! I have done roof work (they don't slip), general construction (great support) and riden my motorcycle. They haven't even built up dirt in the soles. It's as if they're self cleaning, except wet mulch. The boots are dirty on top, but show only light wear. The soles show 50-60%wear. Bottom line; I bought another pair, still in the box, for when they do wear out. On sale at $43.50 delivered I challenge you to find a better pair of boots. These are not heavy duty rebuildable boots but unbeatable for everyday lite to medium duty wear.

They’re comfortable, feel sturdy, and have good traction. They also look better in person than I expected. So far, they’ve been great.

They're decent for the price. Not terribly made at all, true to size, and comfortable enough. Just don't expect them to last a long time. The soles are a soft material and even just wearing them about an hour a day they only lasted a year before I wore directly through them, the heel is not solid and is just a honeycomb so once you break through you are basically directly exposed to the elements.

Bought to wear to a motorcycle class, so only worn once. I was worried they would need lots of breaking in, but they were comfortable out of the box. They are not safety toe, which I need for work. If they were, I'd wear them more often. Fit is comfortable, seemsfit is close to size.

Very nice boots, they are comfortable and surprisingly warm in winter. I sprayed them with boot water resistant spray to give them a bit of extra. Love the colour.

This my second pair. Love these boots. Only complaint is after about 2 years the boot souls get crushed out.

These boots exceeded my expectations! I honestly didn’t expect them to be this comfortable, but they fit great and provide excellent protection as well. The quality is impressive, and they’ve been comfortable to wear for extended periods. Great product — I would definitely recommend them!
