10/10 would buy again
This vacuum was my one and only prime day splurge last year and I have not regretted it even once. I researched different stick vacs and decided this model seemed like the best value for what I needed (vs. dyson and other brands). Overall summary: extremely easy to use, charge, and clean the vacuum itself. Very effective and functional, would absolutely buy again even if it died tomorrow after only one year of owning but it seems to be working about 98% as well as it was right out of the box. I specifically waited a year to write this because many reviews I read when comparing cordless vacuums prior to purchase mentioned problems after about 6 months of use. I've had none. The rest of the review is long but I know if I would have appreciated reading this input when shopping around. Battery life: I timed the use when I first got it and ran it for ~40 minutes switching between hard floor and carpet settings and it did not run out. I think it's only died on me once or twice in the entire time I've had it, and that's when I was vacuuming the entire ~3000 sq ft house in one go. Since I usually stick to just upstairs or just downstairs at a time, battery isn't an issue for me even on the high power setting. Suction/dust cup capacity: the suction is only ever affected when the dust collector cup is seriously full, and since we had two cats and one dog and were catching up on a long time of neglecting vacuuming, this was pretty often at first. Since then we've gotten through one or two full battery charges worth of cleaning without having to empty, which means the suction has been great. We use crystal cat litter that sometimes gets statically stuck to our cat's fur and he will shake it off on the carpeted floor. This vacuum has been great at getting the litter (and fur of course) out of the carpet. Not to mention actually emptying the dust cup is super easy too. Hand vac/crevice tool: switching attachments is also very easy. I had a super cheap hand vac I used to use for crevices and cleaning my car, but no more. This is great for getting in between couch cushions, car seats, cup holders, floorboards, etc. Brush roll: I have long hair and I shed a lot more than the average person. One of the biggest deciding factors between brands for me was the ability to get my hair out of the brush roll and I definitely made the right choice on this one. Even when my hair is clogging the brush roll, it has never once actually stopped it from rolling and has barely changed the effectiveness at all. When I do clean it out - it's SO easy thanks to the grooves on the roll and the bristle design. Even on other vacuums that are supposedly designed to easily clean the brush roll, it has never been this easy before. Down side: The only suggestion for improvement I have is that the tiny wheels on the front of the vacuum head were tangled with fur/dust/hair after the second or third use. Unlike the brush roll, it seems impossible to fix this. On the other hand, even though I'm not sure those wheels even roll anymore, it hasn't actually seemed to have any effect on the vacuum's functionality which is why I'm still giving five stars. If you are on the fence about getting a stick vac in general: I cannot recommend it enough and it is absolutely worth making the switch. My partner and I both have depression and ADHD which makes it very hard for us to find the motivation to clean. Since getting this vacuum I am not kidding, I have vacuumed more in the past year than I have the rest of my adult life (I'm 32! Yes, this is embarrassing!). We keep this near the kitchen within easy reach and eye sight, and it's small enough not to be in the way. We also have carpeted stairs which were the worst to have to deal with - both mentally and literally - and now I vacuum them regularly just because it's so easy. We have had multiple full size/traditional "pet" specific vacuums before and this specific model has equal or better suction power and is so much more convenient than all of them. And it fits under the couch!

I would buy it again
I like this vacuum cleaner. It quickly replaced my vacuum with a cord. The suction is good enough for everything I need to use it for. It works well normally, and with the little turbo trigger it's even stronger. I have slight OCD so this vacuum is constantly being used and it's so easy to just whip it out and spot clean whatever i like. I use the skinny attachment a lot and it has a sliding brush head that I use to clean my couch cushions, bathroom mats, corners, and sometimes the counters and tables. I like that the brush head is constantly attached to the skinny attachment so I don't have to worry about losing it or having to go get it when I need to use it. I would buy it again if I had to, but I don't see this thing needing to be replaced for a long time. I know it's durable because my son has already dropped it on the hard kitchen floor from shoulder height and it separated in to all of its pieces. I thought for sure that he'd broken it, but I just snapped everything back together and it works perfectly still, no leaks and nothing on it cracked or broke off. I've already bought replacement filters for it, but haven't used them yet. The filters are easy to pull out and clean up, so I'm saving the new ones for now. It will vacuum for a long time on a full charge. I really don't see it going dead on you mid clean unless you live in a mansion or you're trying to clean a warehouse. It also charges up pretty fast. The only thing I don't like is that it's kind of hard to get it to stand up on its own, like when you store it for charging. It has a tendency to tilt a little and roll down if you don't set it up perfectly with the little rubber strips on the wall. I think if it had a way of locking the wheels it would be a little better, but I still give it a 10/10. I think it's worth the price. Super versatile and you can literally vacuum anywhere. I've used it to vacuum out my boat, my semi truck, my cars, and my shed. Unlimited range vacuum.

Get to know your vacuum
I say get to know your vacuum because the instructions are not very clear on things. I read so many reviews, watched all the videos, and was impressed and decided to buy it. I needed something light so I can daily clean up dog hair, from my 3 loving pups. I'm recovering from a shoulder replacement surgery, and, sweeping isn't always easy, plus the hair just flys away. When I read everything, and used first time, well I have to say I wasn't too impressed. Yes, it picked up the dog hair, but not the crumbs from dog treats. But I figured, well at least it's getting the dog hair daily. And 1 time a week using my main Shark vacuum, get great vacuuming done. After a couple days, I noticed a red light.... So after checking, I found that the brush wasn't moving because vacuum had pulled a piece of Berber carpet from bedroom and was wrapped up.I cleared it out . And started vacuuming....going from floor to carpet, making sure I made switch on handle..... I was amazed... On the throw rugs, vacuum would suck it up, and red light came on. I turned vacuum off, back on and continued.... This cordless vacuum was picking up everything.... Hair, crumbs....even crumbs close to baseboard. The dog hair stuck to bottom of bar chair felt tips. I was was amazed... I just had to get to know my vacuum better. So every day, I do a quick and easy dog hair vacuum. And once a week a really good vacuum with my stronger corded vacuum. I haven't tried taking it apart to use without handle because I don't have the strength in my left shoulder yet to pull apart. This Shark is well made. And it's not loud, which is great, because it doesn't scare my 13 year old pup. She just lays there and watches me vacuum. I have always bought a Shark vacuum when it was time to buy an upgrade. My husband wasn't thrilled about a cordless vacuum, but I figured....heck, I'm the one cleaning the house, and bought it. I am VERY HAPPY with my new cordless "Sharky". They could give more information on it, such as the "red light".... But, I figured it out, and got to know my vacuum. Now I don't have to fight with a broom, flying dog hair, than trying to sweep onto a dust pan. I'm very happy, and highly recommend this vacuum. Especially if you are recovering from surgery. It is so light weight, at first I thought it would be useless. I was wrong.

Satisfactory but not excellent!
Very lightweight. Easy to maneuver. Gets in all the tight spaces. Honestly though I found it has two flaws. One being it doesn't stand up on its own like a regular vacuum cleaner so if you let go of it, it will fall to floor. The other flaw is having to stop and empty the dust container so often. It is very powerful for a cordless and sucks up well. Overall if you can get this vacuum on sale, it's worth it but if not pass. I am happy with it for now but will definitely upgrade to a Dyson at some point.

Decent but not the best
Its a decent vacuum for the price. The PROS: It is light weight, which is nice to not feel like I worked out just to vacuum. The battery lasted about as long as advertised, less than I needed with using the power trigger on many areas that I felt the hardwood setting suction wasn't powerful enough for, but they battery life was honest. Was able to get through most of the house in one full charge. It sucked up most hair/dust/dirt on regular suction though. The CONS: The quick guide that came with the vacuum for assembly did not show where the "prior installed filter" should go when it WASN'T installed before arriving. Took me longer than I care to admit to realize it went into the top part of the motor, before the dirt canister clips on. There was also no instruction or owners manual of any kind, so it was a trial and error, plus some "YouTube universe" to know which settings each thing was. Next issue was each time I had to empty the canister, I had to either take the canister off or disconnect the wand shaft in order to do so. Lastly, but certainly not least for a PET Vacuum, it does NOT pick up cat litter well. Long story short: it is good enough to keep it, but I won't be rushing out to buy another when this one kicks the bucket.

This vacuum is amazing with great suction! I saw a store using on their doormat.
We have a bunch of large door floor mats in front of several doors in the house, plus some walkway doorways that collect dirt and lint balls on the carpet. Always a big project getting out the canister vacuum, hose, and carpet floor unit to vacuum, so they don't get vacuumed as often as they should. A few weeks ago I'm walking out of a local large grocery store and see one of this model of Shark stick vacuum being used on their entry doorway floor mat. I took a look and remembered "Rocket" on the carpet unit, then tracked the stick vac down here and at a big box home store. What really caught my attention was the clear plastic "catch bin" at the top! Seemed like exactly the right thing in the right place, and clear so I could see what was being picked up. Well yep, having bought one, it works even better than expected! The various comments here, before I bought, said you have to pull the "high suction" trigger to get sufficient power on carpets, and that drains the battery faster. BOTH TRUE, BUT WHEN YOU DO THAT THIS THING SUCKS LIKE CRAZY! I'm impressed with what was in the catch bin and what I could see coming up from the carpets and mats. Small bits like cat litter, large bits of stuff, lint, hairs, everything on the mats and rug walkways. I vacuumed two carpet areas in in doorways between rooms that always accumulate a lot of dirt. Then vacuumed 3 of the door mats. Then vacuumed part of a sunroom carpet where a bunch of cats live. Even on the "high suction" the battery was only 2/3 gone after all that (there are 3 LEDs that tell you charge/discharge level) but I stopped because it looked like the catch bin might be full. This was first use and I wasn't sure. Yep, completely full, and that is a large bin! One thing: INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT CLEAR THAT THE CATCH BIN EMPTIES WITH A TRAP DOOR ON ITS BOTTOM, WHEN YOU PRESS THE EMPTY LEVER. SO IT WILL DUMP RIGHT INTO YOUR LAP IF YOU DON'T KNOW THAT UPFRONT, LIKE HAPPENED TO ME. :) Luckily it was close enough to my lap that the suddenly-open trap door hit my leg and only opened about an inch, limiting how much came out until I could move it and me to the trash can. :) Knowing how it works now, I just hold it over the trash can then trigger the bottom door release. Which is really great, you don't have to turn the catch bin upside down and shake or such. There isn't a printed set of "word" instructions with the unit, it is one of those picture instruction pamphlets. For the most part that works, as in: assemble the stick pipe into the floor unit, then the vacuum head onto the stick pipe. There apparently is a QR code on the top than can be scanned for more instructions. Pro tip: the inside of the catch bin will be dusty after you empty. I used a "computer air" spray can (for PC keyboards and such) to blow out the inside and top. There is no way to get the unit to self-stand that I've found, for storage, as other comments here have noted. I found two cabinets with a space between them wide enough to set this unit in upright. Done! Even has a plug nearby for the charger. Those LEDs near the "suction trigger" show you how the charging is coming along. 3 of them that light in sequence as it charges, then they all go off when completely charged. Charges reasonably fast. At a local big box home store I saw this unit in person, plus a whole bunch of other brands and models. Yep, I "showroomed" then ordered here for $30 less. :/ None of the brands and models had that nice, large, clear catch bin at the top back like this one has. Several brands had black or opaque catch bins and they were located in odd places. Why? To make sure I won't be able to see how full it is getting? Guys! :) This vacuum is great, for what it is, a quick and fairly powerful unit to quickly clean floor mats, doorways, and other small areas. Probably not the ideal thing for your entire living room rug, although could do it with a few re-charges and catch bin empties. Summary: just buy it already! :) A+++++

A total eye-opener—my new favorite vacuum!
Buy this vacuum if you want to see how dirty your house actually is. The blue light on the front of the brush unit sits right above floor level, and it illuminates dust and dirt you never even knew was there. It was honestly a bit of an awakening—I genuinely thought my floors were clean! Now, I use it every night to sweep through the kitchen. It’s so lightweight, quick, and effortless to grab. Unlike other vacuums that just push debris around, this one actually picks everything right up. A few key highlights that make it great: The Blue Light: Makes every hidden particle visible so you can see exactly what you're doing. Great Battery Life: I only need to charge it about once every 5 days with my nightly routine. Low Maintenance: It’s easy to clean out, and there are no recurring costs for bags or filters to keep buying. Hands down my new favorite vacuum!

Amazing Vacuum for Hardwood Floors
I love this vacuum, but it wouldn’t be the perfect vacuum for every family/house. PROS: - So quick and easy to use - Lightweight - Convenient - Works great on hardwood floors - Great for stairs CONS - Not powerful enough to clean deep into carpet - Battery dies fast This vacuum works great for us because we have a small house with mostly hardwood floors. Since the battery dies relatively fast, you may not be able to vacuum a large house without stopping to let it charge. I also would not recommend it if you have a lot of carpet, especially if you have pets that shed since I don’t feel like it is powerful enough to clean deeply into carpet. It’s a great vacuum for hardwood floors.

Although powerful, it is a waste of money.
Although powerful, it only runs for around 15 minutes, if you are lucky and, I thought it would run on power as well like a mobile phone but, it does not. It is a waste of money.

Passes the Test!
This vaccum is passing the test! I had the pet pro detect and was disappointed. It kept getting clogged with EVERY use, and was difficult to unclogg. The vertex hasn't clogged on me. I have 3 young kids, both hard and carpeted floors. It has a great battery life and is compact yet powerful. Super easy to empty and generally impressed with it overall. It is also quieter than expected without losing out on power!

Buen producto
