This string is SO much better than what my Ryobi battery-powered string trimmer came with. With the old string, I needed the speed on max just to get through tall fescue grass, and it still wore down so fast I had to bump it 5-10x per use. With this quality string, however, I can run my trimmer at any speed, and it cuts through effortlessly! I can even get into tight spaces like corners just by going slow, literally whipping the grass away. I had to bump it 2x per use, because a longer string was better for the end result, but wow! Total game changer. Makes string trimming fun again, not frustrating and tedious. And didn't drain my battery. No, I didn't soak it 24hrs, like you're supposed to, but it was tough string, regardless. (beginner lawn enthusiast)

Swapped this Husqvarna Titanium Force .095 line into my bump-feed head and immediately noticed two things. It cuts cleaner and it doesn’t snap when it kisses brick edging or the chain-link fence. The round, slightly textured profile seems to bite through thick crabgrass without shredding into fuzz, and the spool lasts longer because I am not stopping every ten minutes to rethread. Noise is lower than the square line I used before, which is a nice bonus for early mornings.One small gripe is the gray color. It’s a little harder to see the ends when loading the head in the shade, so I trim it an inch longer to make threading easier. Otherwise it feeds, bumps, and wears exactly how you hope a premium line would. After a month of weekly trims I still have plenty left on the 140-foot spool, and the yard looks sharper with fewer passes.

I have been a fan of this trimmer line for over 20 years. I bought it when I used to work for Northern Tool back in the early 2000s for whatever trimmer I had back then and was impressed with the durability of it and the lack of sound it makes when in use. It works just awesome in anything that takes .095 trimmer line.Well, lo and behold, I found a package deal of this with my Shakespeare Weed Warrior trimmer head and jumped at it because I have found it isn't as easy to find it as it used to be. I run it on my Husqvarna 128CD trimmer I got as part of a package deal in trade for a mower I had and I recently got it up and running with this and the Weed Warrior head. It works just as good as I remember. It is just as quiet as I remember too! I absolutely love this trimmer line in anything I can throw it in. And now that I have a roll, I am going to use it in all of my trimmers!Really wish I could find a 5lb roll of this stuff. Not that I go through it that fast. This stuff is durable as heck and takes a massive beating and keeps its length with little issue. I rarely have to advance the line in my trimmers when I run it in them. No, I just know if I can find a 5lb roll, it will be the last time I ever buy trimmer line. That roll will literally last me the rest of my days here on earth. Probably well into my kids' lives too!If you are thinking of getting this stuff for your trimmer, just save yourself the research. This is literally the bee's knees of trimmer line. THIS IS THE BEST STRING I HAVE BOUGHT FOR MY TRIMMER. SEEMS TO LAST A BIT BEFORE IT BREAKS SO THAT'S A BIG PLUS FOR ME. OTHER STRINGS SEEM TO BE A LITTLE MORE BRITTLE AND I SEEM TO GO THROUGH IT FAST.THIS ONE DEFINITELY LASTS A BIT LONGER OR BREAKS A LITTLE LESS. FOR ME IT WORKS.

Like my title says this is the real deal! It fits well in my echo gas powered weed eater. The quality seems good and it takes a lot to break it. I often slam it against our concrete patio while I am doing my edging and it holds really well

I have the Ego trimmer which comes with the high-viz orange string. I was about to run out, so I bought this on standby. Today, I got back to the yard work after many days of rain. Dandelion weeds with stems about an inch in diameter and Bermuda grass about a foot tall (along with their snakelike root system) were my opponents.Let me say that I wished I had changed over sooner than later to the Husqvarna Titanium. This thing cuts through the weeds with so much ease it was incredible! Because it cuts better, I was working faster, too. With the Ego-branded string, I was struggling. I even ran out of juice in my battery and had to recharge it. I wish I had started with the Husqvarna Titanium, as this would have saved me hours upon hours of struggle! Holding the string trimmer for many hours and using muscles I don't normally use means I feel tired afterwards. If I work faster, then I fatigue less. This stuff held out well, too. The orange stuff broke long before the Husqvarna ever did.I found winding and unwinding the Husqvarna string a lot easier, too. The Ego seems to have some properties that make it bind. It was just hard to work with, especially when I wanted to pull out what's left and load with the Husqvarna.
