Chef CraftSelect Serving Ladle, 8 inch, Stainless Steel

Well made, small but strong, and beautiful. I enjoy using it. There may be times I will want to use a larger spatula but a smaller one is usually the most useful, as it maneuvers in smaller spaces without damaging food. I bought this for my camping kitchen but now I want it for everyday use. I will put my other small spatula in the camping box. It had originally been a friends camp spatula but they dumped it at a garage sale & I discovered how useful a small spatula is.

I am very pleased with the Chef Craft stainless turner. It was exactly what I expected because I read the product description which was accurate. It is a short handled turner which is perfect for the two small cast iron skillets that I use for eggs or sautéing. You could use it for larger skillets as well, just be aware that this is not a regular length for a turner. I like that the handle is thin because all those fat handled utensils take up so much room in the utensil holder. Unless you have arthritis, you don't actually need ergo handles for an item that needs no pressure to use and that you will hold for only a couple of minutes.It's constructed of one solid piece of stainless so nothing to break, burn or scorch. So glad I purchased this handy little tool. I have also ordered a long handled spatula from Chef Craft . I have thrown out all my old funky nylon kitchen tools at last. This product arrived within 5 days of my order with free shipping on orders totaling $25.00 or more.UPDATE: I've been using this product for over a year now and it still looks shiny and new just like the day I unwrapped it. No rust or any flaws even though It's been used almost every other day and left in the sink in water more times than I car to admit!! I highly recommend this spatula. It will never need replacement, it's a lifetime product.

I would have given 5 stars but its not as thick as I would have liked...it can bend easily if not handled correctly... and its a little short on the handle... but overall it does the job for the price

I bought this to use to dish up pasta I make from time to time as I didn't like what I had and when I seen this one I thought I would order it but when I got it I thought it didn't look at all like I thought it was going to be but I thought let me give it a try and it has worked out better than I thought it would and I have been very happy with it. I is very sturdy and don't worry about it bending. It looks very nice and serves up the pasta dish so much easier and very happy with the size of it and how easy it is to hold and clean. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again if needed. Highly recommend.

I wanted a small spatula because I keep coconut oil in a wide mouth Mason jar and needed something to scoop it out (when it’s hardened). Although definitely small, this spatula does fine at flipping eggs, etc. It’s also stiff enough to do great at scraping cast iron grills.Most people would probably be better served with a regular spatula. This one has such a short handle that, with a large pan, your hand is directly over splattering grease.Bit if you need a smaller spatula or are really tight on drawer space (like a RV) then I highly recommend it.

This ladle might be super cute, and it seems well-made, but the dimensions weren’t as described. The handle length was correct, but the width of the opening is only 2.5 inches, not 3.5. Will probably end up sending it back.

This is a very nice, and sturdy, large serving spoon. Sometimes we need more serving spoons in the kitchen, doesn't hurt to have a few extra utensils on hand. Company? This spoon is perfect for those extra dishes, casseroles, especially if they are serving themselves. Or if you're plating the dishes for everyone, it's always great to have separate spoons to keep everything all neat, clean, separate on the plates.

I received this small "stainless steel" label today. While the size was as expected, I was disappointed in the quality of materials and workmanship. While the edges of the handle seem to have been smoothed, the edges of the bowl are quite rough. The label that came with this product indicates that this product contains; Nickel, Manganese, Phosphorus, & Copper, and for more information about the chemicals in this product, it directs the consumer to www.chefcraft.com/CA-AB1200-DISCLOSURE. I did some research on food-grade stainless steel and found that contains iron, chromium (at least 11%), and often nickel--not manganese, phosphorous,or copper. Due to the California Disclosure, it is apparent that these additional metals are not safe for use with food. I plan to return it for a refund. It was also not clearly indicated on the Amazon listing that this product is made in India.
