It works.
The adaptor does work but here is some info. I needed 5.5 connector. There is one already attached to the adaptor but the length was only 10mm. I needed a 11mm length. I assumed it was the only 5.5 connector. All of the rest of plugs have a letter printed on them but no spec sheet enclosed. There was another 5.5 in the package but it has a black tip not a yellow tip like the rest of my 5.5 plugs. Luckily I had a micrometer that read in mm. The black tip plug was 11mm in length. All of the rest of plugs attach to the existing 5.5 plug. Don’t like the setup but I’ll keep it.

I have had trouble keeping my dvd chargers working , so I bought 3 of the same kind they have proven me wrong , tgey have been working great their is no tears in the wires they are very durable , pleased

Power of Loooooooove
Works fine, lasts long time. The various connectors are handy. NOTE: The plugs are NOT reversible to reverse the polarity (as some adapters can do). These adapters are for positive (+) tip/hole and negative (-) ring/sleeve only... which works for 90% of applications. If you need negative (-) tip/hole positive (+) ring/sleeve, then you have to cut the wire somewhere and revese the leads. If that is something you don't want to do, then this item it not for you. I still gave it 5 stars.

Need proper adapter tip.
The adapter was not appropriate for our device. We are looking for a 12v dc, 1000mA adapter with a 2-prong connector on the output side. The adapter tips with this adapter did not match up with the input connector on our equipment. Please reply to this message and let us know if you might have any suggestions for an adapter that will work for us.

Works like a champ!
I bought this to replace a 4V power supply for my wife's Mighty Brite magnifier floor lamp. The lamp is no longer offered, and neither is the 4V adapter. The vendor recommended a straight 12V adapter, but the light just blinked when it was used - classic protective circuit behavior. The selection of connectors had a compatible connector, and I set this adapter on the lowest setting - 4.5 volts, and it worked great!
