If you are looking for a good service tool and GREAT SERVICE AFTER THE SALE, this is the one for you! See below for details: The scanner MK900-BT arrived, and it was slightly used and already registered. I bought the unit on sale and Amazon does not have a replacement policy. They were going to simply refund my money, and I would have had to purchase another unit at full price or wait for another unit to go on sale. I contacted the seller via email [email protected] and explained the situation. They responded the next day and apologized for the mix-up. They said Amazon fulfillment probably checked the unit when it was returned, and thought would be OK to send out as it was still in the original packaging. The scanner worked fine, it just had some minor scratches on the screen protector, and it looked like it could have possibly had something spilled on it. I did not want to take a chance on that. Autel Tech offered to simply reregister the MK900-BT in my name or replace it with a brand-new unit. I chose to replace it with a new one, and they did not hesitate to send me a prepaid shipping label to return the used scanner and once they received it, they shipped me a brand-new unit. They even offered to send me a free accessory for all the trouble. I would not hesitate to purchase something from this seller again. The seller is Autel Tech. Working with this seller was better than dealing with Amazon. Thank you again Autel Tech for standing behind your products! The scanner is very nice. Easy to setup and use. The Bluetooth (BT) works great. I highly recommend BT over the cable. You can close the vehicle door and take the scanner all the way around the vehicle with no issues at all. I have used the Autel MK808-BT a good bit in the past and it works great. The MK900-BT does all the same features as well as many additional features. It also supports DIOP and Can FD out of the box. The bidirectional control works great. You can pulse fuel injectors, cooling fan relays, AC clutch, fuel pumps, window regulators, etc. if the vehicle supports these functions. This is a very nice feature packed scanner for the money. It seems to do everything that is advertised. I have used it on different make/model vehicles as old as 1998 and as new as 2017 and it seems to work fine on those models. Autel maintains software updates regularly. Updating the software is very easy and strait forward. Bottom line: If you are looking for a good service tool and GREAT service after the sale, you cannot go wrong with this one!

This Autel diagnostic machine is truly one of a kind. The quality really impressed me. The case it comes in is very sturdy, well designed and is made to last a long time. You can tell it will protect it from anything. It even has a couple little inner compartments for accessories that you can store. They thought of everything. The scanner itself is really awesome too, it connects to your car in less than a minute. Then, once connected you can see when codes were last cleared. Although it would be interesting if you could see a "code history". Maybe this is an idea for the future. The information the scanner provides is top tier and a must for mechanics. I bought this for my husband who is a mechanic because I saw him looking at it and now he brings it with him to every car he works on. Even only simple oil changes, he brings it with. Friends, family, professional. I got a great deal on it too when it went on sale. We're very happy with our purchase.

When you hear Autel has great customer service you heard right. Multiple emails before the purchase were answered in detail and fast. The main reason I went with this scanner was the customer service and attention to a potential customer. That aside the scanner is a huge step up from what I had previously. I love the BT capability of not having to be tied to the front seat of the car while diagnosing issues. Having internet capability is great as codes and fixes online can be googled instantly off the scanner in real time to pinpoint other test avenues and potential fixes. It covers every make and model out there and comes with one year free updates. For a home Diy and backyard mechanic this is a solid buy, you wont be dissapointed. With the scanner market saturated you have piece of mind Autel will stand behind the product and answer any question or issues that come up. Highly rated and recommended.

So I bought this as a gift for my younger brother, who is a mechanical and electrical engineer. He’s all about cars. I shipped it to Jamaica, and it arrived brand new. He registered it and said it’s been working like a charm, and he’s impressed with it. He said it was easy to set up, and the software updated really fast. He also said it has been compatible with all the cars he has worked on since. I will update again if it gives any problems in the future, but so far, he’s happy.

Like it but like most tools wish I would have went MP900 or 906

I have used both Autel & Snap On for about 15 Years and when it came time to buy my own for at home the choice was easy. This Autel does everything you need and much more. If your buying a Bidirectional Control Diagnostic Tool for the first time this is the one to get. You will want the wireless connector trust me! Just make sure to keep track of the dongle. That being said, you can't beat the value for money on this unit.

This tool has the capabilities of much more expensive brands at a very reasonable cost. Being able to monitor real time data, and program trim codes, control functions such as fans, fuel pumps, a/c compressors, and many other functions makes diagnostics and service much easier, for instance commanding a fuel, or DEF pump on to drain the tank for necessary repairs. Customer service has gone above and beyond to help educate me on the tool, and make sure i am content with my purchase.

The MK900BT offers good build quality and performs all scanning and diagnostic functions as expected across multiple vehicle brands. Although I encountered some account and cloud issues, customer support did an excellent job resolving them within 24 hours.
